Claims (10)

  1. Wheelchair comprising at least:
    - one frame (6) equipped with components (7, 8, 9) for contact with the ground;
    - one seat (10) supported by the frame;
    - one backrest (20), the height (H20) of which is parallel to a first axis (Z) and the width (20) of which is parallel to a second axis (Y) perpendicular to the first axis;
    wherein:
    - the backrest (20) comprises at least three subassemblies (22, 24, 26) distributed over the height of the backrest;
    - the position of each subassembly, parallel to a third axis (X) which is perpendicular to the first and second axes (Z, Y), is adjustable independently of that of the other subassemblies,
    characterised in that each subassembly (22, 24, 26) is made up of two panels (221, 222, 241, 242, 261, 262) which are articulated, in relation to one another and independently of one another, about a common axis (Z22, Z24, Z26) which is parallel to the first axis (Z).
  2. Wheelchair according to claim 1, characterised in that at least some (22, 26) of the subassemblies (22, 24, 26) are articulated, in relation to the frame (23) of the backrest, about an axis (Y22, Y26) which is parallel to the second axis (Y).
  3. Wheelchair according to either of the preceding claims, characterised in that the backrest (20) comprises:
    - a main frame (21) which is articulated, in relation to the seat (10), about an axis (Y20) which is parallel to the second axis (Y);
    - an auxiliary frame (23) which is movable in translation (F1) in relation to the main frame, parallel to the first axis (Z),
    and in that the subassemblies (22, 24, 26) are mounted on the auxiliary frame (23).
  4. Wheelchair according to claim 3, characterised in that three plates (2332, 2334, 2336) are mounted on the auxiliary frame (23), and in that a subassembly (22, 24, 26) is mounted on each plate by adjustable mechanical means (2372, 2392, 2374, 2376) which make it possible to adjust the position of the said subassembly in relation to the plate, parallel to the third axis (X).
  5. Wheelchair according to claim 4, characterised in that the means for mounting a subassembly (22, 24, 26) on the corresponding plate (2332, 2334, 2336) comprise rods (2241, 2242, 2441, 2442, 2641, 2642) belonging to the subassembly, the said rods being engaged, with the possibility of translation parallel to the third axis (X), in apertures (2352) in the plate, and in that reversible means (2372, 2392, 2374, 2376) make it possible to immobilise each rod in the corresponding aperture in a reversible manner.
  6. Wheelchair according to claims 2 and 5, characterised in that the apertures (2352) in at least some of plates (2332, 2336) are oblong, with their largest dimension (H2352) parallel to the first axis (Z), and in that the immobilising means (2372, 2392, 2376) are compatible with the pivoting movement of the rods (2241, 2242, 2641, 2642) belonging to a subassembly (22, 26) about an axis (Y22, Y26) parallel to the second axis (Y), when the rods are engaged in the apertures (2352).
  7. Wheelchair according to one of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the backrest (20) comprises an actuator (234) for positioning the auxiliary frame (23) in relation to the main frame (21), as well as means (211, 232) for guiding the auxiliary frame in translation (F1) in relation to the main frame, parallel to the first axis.
  8. Wheelchair according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each subassembly (22, 24, 26) comprises a base plate (224, 244, 264) on which the two panels (221, 222, 241, 242, 261, 262) are articulated about a common axis (Z22, Z24, Z26) parallel to the first axis (Z), and in that independent means (2821-2861, 2822-2862) for adjusting the angular orientation of a panel are interpolated between each panel and the base plate.
  9. Wheelchair according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises configurable means (234) for adjusting the height (HD1, HD2), measured parallel to the first axis (Z), of a sacral clearance (D) defined between the seat (10) and the backrest (20).
  10. Wheelchair according to claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the actuator is an electric jack (234) and belongs to the configurable means for adjusting the height (HD1, HD2) of the sacral clearance (D).
