  1. A deployable protection system, characterised in that it comprises an armature (2) that can be deployed around a central tube (10) of said armature, with a longitudinal axis XX', which tube comprises two ends and a fabric (4) for covering said armature, said armature comprising:
    - at least two pairs (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5) of rigid tubes (20, 24, 28, 32, 36), (22, 26, 30, 34, 38), with two rigid tubes of one pair, in a respective axial plane (pl1, pl2, pl3, pl4, pl5) that passes through said longitudinal axis XX', being articulated at one of their ends (eA) on a respective clevis, one (40, 44, 48, 52, 56) of which is integral with one of the ends of said central tube, the other (42, 46, 50, 54, 58) of which is integral with the other end of said central tube (10), the other free ends of said rigid tubes being able to move in the axial plane of the pair,
    - a semi-rigid tube (70, 71, 72, 73, 74) per pair of rigid tubes in said axial plane of the pair, comprising a piston (75) at each of its ends, each piston of a semi-rigid tube being able to slide in a sealed manner in each of said rigid tubes of the pair so as to form a pressurising chamber (80) in each of said rigid tubes,
    said protection system further comprising a device for pressurising the chambers of said rigid tubes so as to displace said pistons inside said rigid tubes and to change the system from a folded position to a deployed position.
  2. The protection system according to claim 1, characterised in that said rigid tubes have a degree of rotational freedom around an axis of articulation YY' with its respective articulation clevis perpendicular to its respective axial plane (pl1, pl2, pl3, pl4, pl5) that passes through said axis XX' of said central tube (10).
  3. The protection system according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that said articulated ends (eA) of said rigid tubes are closed so as to form, with said piston (75) of said semi-rigid tube, said pressurising chamber (80) in each of said rigid tubes.
  4. The protection system according to claim 1 or 3, characterised in that said rigid tube comprises, at its free end, a limit stop (90) that is integral with said rigid tube and is in the form of an O-ring (90) surrounding said semi-rigid tube (70, 72, 74, 76, 78).
  5. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that each of said rigid tubes comprises an intermediate guide (92) for guiding a part of the end of said semi-rigid tube when it moves inside said rigid tube.
  6. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that said central tube (10) comprises incidence limit stops (94) that are disposed on its periphery so that, when said system is in the folded position, the free ends of said rigid tubes bear against one of said incidence limit stops (94) to form an angle of incidence θ with said central tube (10).
  7. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that said fabric (4) is configured so as to adopt an ovoidal shape when said system is in the deployed position, said fabric comprising, at each end of said central tube (10), an opening (100, 102) for the passage of said rigid tubes, and in that the edges (104, 106) of said openings (100, 102) of said fabric (4) are integral with said rigid tubes so as to maintain said fabric in position on said armature (2).
  8. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that it further comprises cables (CL1, CL2, CL3) of predetermined lengths that are fixed to each end of said central tube (10) so as to provide said deployed fabric (4) with a predetermined shape.
  9. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that said rigid tubes are closed at their articulated ends (eA) by flanges, a righthand flange (84) at one end of said central tube (10) and a left-hand flange (86) at the other end of said central tube, said chambers (80) of said rigid tubes being pressurised by pressurising said flanges (84, 86).
  10. The protection system according to claim 9, characterised in that said device for pressurising said chambers of said rigid tubes comprises a pyrotechnic gas generator in each of said flanges (84, 86) of said armature.
  11. The protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that each rigid tube is closed independently at its articulated end (eA), the pressurising of said chambers (80) of said rigid tubes being carried out independently for each of said rigid tubes.
  12. The protection system according to claim 11, characterised in that said device for pressurising said chambers (80) of said rigid tubes comprises a pyrotechnic gas generator in each of said chambers (80) of said rigid tubes.
  13. The protection system according to any one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that it comprises an electrical device for firing said pyrotechnic gas generators.
