Claims (7)

  1. A feeder arrangement for use with a casting mold of the type used in metal casting, comprising a feeder sleeve with a feeder body (10) that forms a feeder volume (14) and consists of an exothermal and/or insulating material, wherein the feeder body, which contains the feeder volume for receiving the liquid metal overflowing from the mold cavity of the casting mold, comprises sidewalls (11), a cover region (12), as well as a bottom region (13) with a feeder opening (15) formed therein, wherein said feeder opening produces a connection with the mold cavity of the casting mold, and wherein a ventilation opening (16) for the feeder volume is formed in the cover region, characterized in that a pouring basin (20), which is connected to the ventilation opening (16) and serves for receiving liquid metal flowing out of the feeder volume (14) through the ventilation opening (16), is arranged on the outer surface of the cover region (12) of the feeder body (10).
  2. The feeder arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the pouring basin (20) consists of a depression (17), which is formed in the cover region (12) of the feeder body (10) on the outer side of the cover region (12).
  3. The feeder arrangement according to claim 2, characterized in that the edge surface (18) of the cover region (12), which encloses the depression (17), is inclined in accordance with the design of a funnel directed toward the ventilation opening (16).
