Abstract

Vorrichtung zum Öffnen von auf einer Transportbahn kontinuierlich bewegten gebunden Druckprodukten zum Einfügen einer Beilage oder nachträglichen Bedrucken einer Seite, mit einem in horizontaler Richtung bewegbaren in der Höhe einstellbaren Produktöffner (5). Dieser erlaubt eine mikrometergenaue Einstellung, so dass in einer bestimmten Höhe in das vorbei transportierte Druckprodukt eingegriffen werden kann. Nach dem Öffnen des Druckprodukts (13) wird das von einer optischen Erkennungseinrichtung erfasste Bild der Seite mit einem Bild der Seite verglichen, in die ein Produkt eingeschoben werden soll. Gemäß dem Verfahren erfolgt das Öffnen von auf einer Transportbahn kontinuierlich bewegten gebundenen Druckprodukten für eine nachfolgende Beilage in das Druckprodukt derart, dass das jeweiligen auf der Transportbahn herangeführte Druckprodukt in einer, einer vorgegebenen Seite entsprechenden Höhe geöffnet wird, die obere Seite des auf der Transportbahn befindlichen Teils des Druckprodukts zumindest an einer Ecke optisch erfasst und mit zuvor erfassten Bildern der vorgegebenen Seite und einer Anzahl der vorbefindlichen Seiten verglichen wird, und aufgrund der erkannten Seite ggf. soviel Seiten von der vorgegebenen Seite aufgeblättert werden, bis die vorgegebene Seite erreicht ist. Die Erfindung ermöglicht die Öffnung eines kontinuierlich bewegten gebundenen Druckprodukts auf einer vorgegebenen Seite.
