- Arrangement for feeding a virtually continuous web of material (4) to a handling device (19) which receives the web of material (4), having a rotatable dispenser reel (2) which holds the web of material (4) before it is fed to the handling device (19), characterised in that the dispenser reel (2) is coupled to a dispenser reel motor (3), to an infeed tensioning unit (8) which is arranged between the dispenser reel (2) and the handling device (19), which has two fixed rollers (9, 14) arranged in fixed positions and one pivotably mounted swinging roller (12), and which has an angle sensor (34) sensitive to the angular position of the swinging roller (12), and to a control unit (36) which is connected to the angle sensor (34) and the dispenser reel motor (3) and which, if the swinging roller (12) moves away from a reference angular position, is set up to displace the dispenser reel (2) in an infeed rotation which feeds the web of material (4) to the handling device (19) or in a reverse feed rotation in the opposite direction to the infeed rotation.
- Arrangement according to claim 1, characterised in that there are present, at the end remote from the dispenser reel (2) of a handling device (19), an outfeed tensioning unit (24) and a receiving reel (32) for a web of material (4) which has passed through a handling device (19), which receiving reel (32) can be rotated in two directions of rotation by means of a receiving reel motor (33).
- Arrangement according to claim 2, characterised in that the outfeed tensioning unit (24) has two fixed rollers (23, 28) arranged in fixed positions, a pivotably mounted swinging roller (25) and an angle sensor which is sensitive to the angular position of the swinging roller (25) of the outfeed tensioning unit (24), in that the angle sensor (34) of the outfeed tensioning unit (24) is connected to the control unit (36), and in that, if the swinging roller (25) of the outfeed tensioning unit (24) moves away the receiving reel (32), the control unit (36) is set up to displace from a reference angular position in an outfeed rotation which feeds the web of material (4) away from a handling device (19) or in an infeed rotation in the opposite direction to the outfeed rotation.
- Arrangement according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterised in that the or each swinging roller (12, 25) is mounted on a swinging-roller holding arm (13, 26) which is pivotably mounted on a fixed-roller holding arm (13, 27) which carries a fixed roller (9, 28).
- Arrangement according to claim 4, characterised in that the angle sensor (34) of the infeed tensioning unit (8) or the outfeed tensioning unit (24) is mounted in that region of the swinging-roller holding arm (13, 26) which is adjacent the fixed-roller holding arm (10, 27).
- Arrangement according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the control unit (36) has a parameter-set selecting module (45) by which the speed of rotation of the dispenser reel (2) and/or the receiving reel (32) can be set as a function of how full it is.
- Arrangement according to one of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that there is present between the infeed tensioning unit (8) and the outfeed tensioning unit (24) a pivoting arm (16) along which the web of material (4) is passed.
- Arrangement according to claim 7, characterised in that there are present a pivoting-arm sensor arrangement (49) sensitive to the angular position of the pivoting arm (16), and a displacing means connected to the pivoting-arm sensor arrangement (49) by which the arrangement comprising the dispenser reel (2), receiving reel (32), infeed tensioning unit (8), outfeed tensioning unit (24) and handling device (19) can be displaced to and fro along a working travel under the control of the pivoting-arm sensor arrangement (49).
