- Thread pitch 9 and channel depth 10 can be varied in the value ranges mentioned above.
- Fig. 6 it is particularly easy to see that the thread crests 7 are formed at an acute angle in the cross section shown, while the thread valleys can also be formed rounded. In any case, a cutting of the internal thread 6 of the screw cap to be removed from the bottle is facilitated by the acute-angled thread crests 7.
- the thread valleys 8 and the thread combs 7 but also have other shapes.
- the cutting of the respective internal thread 6 in the inner surface 2 can be made by milling method according to the prior art.
- FIG. 4 The embodiment of an annular contact element 1 gem.
- Fig. 4 has, as already explained, the advantage that the bottle to be removed from the bottle screw can be inserted from both direction 11 and 11 'in the receiving cavity 3. So the operator does not have to be careful to put the bottle opener in the right direction on the screw cap. Although this is certainly favorable in terms of practical handling, such a symmetrical configuration of the annular contact element does not necessarily have to be provided.
- Fig. 5 shows accordingly otherwise as in Fig. 4 trained embodiment, in which the diameter of the receiving cavity 3, coming exclusively from the edge 4 in direction 11 towards the other edge 4 'tapers. This allows a flatter construction of the contact element and thus of the bottle opener, but has the disadvantage that the screw cap to be removed must always be inserted from the direction 11 in the receiving cavity 3.
- the total width 27 of this embodiment is only 1 cm.
- the width 28 of the notches 18 is approximately 6.6 mm. The other dimensions are consistent with those of the embodiment. Fig. 4 Again, it should be noted that this too is
- the thread crests 7 of the respective internal threads each lie on a frustoconical surface, as do the thread valleys 7.
- the thread roots 7 and the Gewindetäler 8 lie on a rotationally symmetric surface, which does not necessarily have to be a truncated cone surface.

Description
The invention relates to a bottle opener for opening a closed bottle with a screw cap, in particular wine bottle, the bottle opener having an annular contact element with an inner surface for engagement with the screw cap, wherein the inner surface defines a receiving cavity for receiving the screw cap and the inner surface of two, preferably circular , Edges of the contact element is limited and the diameter of the limited of the inner surface receiving cavity, starting from at least one of the edges towards the other edge at least partially decreases and in the inner surface a left-handed internal thread is formed.
In recent years, more and more bottles of wine are coming onto the market, which are no longer closed with a traditional cork but with a screw cap. On the one hand this is more hygienic, on the other hand the screw cap guarantees a secure and permanently airtight closure of the wine bottles, which is not always ensured with traditional corks.
Especially in the catering industry, therefore, there is a need for bottle openers with which elegant, reliable and with the least possible effort wine bottles with screw cap or other, provided with a screw cap bottles can be opened.
This object is achieved according to the invention by arranging in the inner surface at least one notch, preferably a plurality of notches, which encloses an angle between 80 ° and 100 °, preferably between 87 ° and 93 °, with thread crests of the internal thread . lock in.
A trained in this way contact element allows a reliable and energy-saving removal of the screw cap from the bottle, especially wine bottle to. In this case, the bottle opener can be placed in different angles on the screw without fear that the attempt to open the bottle would fail. The bottle opener according to the invention thus does not require a particularly precise placement on the screw cap. The combination of the features of the decreasing in one direction diameter of the inner surface or of the limited by them receiving cavity and cut into the inner surface left-handed internal thread a high ease of use and safe opening of the bottle is achieved.
If you start to turn the bottle opener in the normal opening direction of a screw cap after placing the bottle opener on the screw cap, so first cuts the internal thread of the bottle opener in the screw cap. Edges are created by the notch or notches, which facilitate the cutting of the internal thread in the screw cap. As a result, after a relatively small angle of rotation already a good durable connection between the bottle opener and the screw is made. If the bottle opener then simply further rotated in the same direction, the screw cap is unscrewed from the bottle. The fastening of the bottle opener on the screw as well as the unscrewing of the screw cap is thus in the same direction, which allows a reliable and rapid opening of the bottle. Even if such bottle openers, especially in the catering, are primarily intended for the opening of wine bottles, of course, any other bottle with screw cap can be opened easily and quickly with them.
Favorable embodiments of the invention provide that thread crests of the internal thread of the inner surface lie on a rotationally symmetrical surface and / or that thread valleys of the internal thread of the inner surface lie on a rotationally symmetrical surface. In particular, it may be provided that thread crests of the internal thread of the inner surface lie on a frustoconical surface and / or that thread valleys of the internal thread of the inner surface lie on a frustoconical surface. Elaborate series of tests have shown that it is favorable if the internal thread has a thread pitch or a so-called pitch between 0.1 mm / rev and 0.4 mm / rev, preferably between 0.2 mm / rev and 0.27 mm / rev. The flight depth, ie the depth of a thread of the internal thread should preferably between 0.01 mm and 0.5 mm, preferably between 0.15 mm and 0.25 mm. In the course of the above-mentioned test series, it has been shown that in the case of deviations from the stated values, either no reliable connection between the screw cap and the bottle opener is established or the screw cap is deformed by the internal thread in such a way that unscrewing the screw cap is obstructed.
So that the internal thread reliably cuts into the screw cap, it is favorable if the thread combs are provided with an acute-angled cross-section. The thread valleys, however, may have a rounded cross-section.
Conveniently, the annular contact element, at least in the region of the inner surface and the inner thread, but preferably completely, is formed of metal. Particularly favorable is the use of steels and in particular of stainless steel for the production of the contact element.
So that the contact element or the bottle opener can not accidentally be placed on the wrong opening screw closure, preferred embodiments of the invention provide that the diameter of the limited of the inner surface receiving cavity, starting from each of the edges towards the other edge at least partially decreases. Such variants can, as far as the diameter profile of the inner surface or the receiving cavity is concerned, be formed substantially symmetrically with respect to a center plane. In such embodiments, it is conveniently provided that a minimum diameter of the receiving cavity bounded by the inner surface lies in the middle between the edges. In particular, for the usual with wine bottles screw caps, it is advantageous if the diameter of the limited of the inner surface receiving cavity at one edge, preferably at both edges of the contact element between 30mm and 30.5mm. The minimum diameter of the receiving cavity defined by the inner surface is in preferred embodiments of the invention between 28mm and 29mm.
