Definitions
- the invention relates to a large load carrier according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic large load carrier with hinged side walls, which are received via connectors in the ground, is from the US 6,142,329 known.
- the circumferentially arranged side walls are received and held on the bottom of the large load carrier within L-shaped projections and klappar to the outside by a certain angular extent.
- the side wall can be lifted in a vertical position from the ground, which is disadvantageous.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a large load carrier, which consists at least partially of plastic and which is also not affected by the filling of hot plastic material or rubber so that disassembly or folding of the large load carrier is impossible. At the same time a lifting should be prevented in the erected position of the side walls.
- the object is achieved with a large load carrier according to claim 1.
- the large load carrier according to the invention has the advantage that at least one side wall can be folded outwards. It is particularly preferred that all side walls are hinged outwards. In further preferred embodiments, in each case the entire side wall can be folded outwards. This distinguishes large load carriers according to the invention from large load carriers in which a part of an outer wall can be folded outwards in order to allow easier access to the bulk material stored on the inside. This applies, for example, side walls, which have in their upper half a kind of hatch, which can be folded outwards. In contrast, the large load carriers according to the invention preferably have completely outwardly hinged side walls.
- the side walls of the transport can be solved well, so that access to the cargo without destruction of the side walls is possible.
- This offers particular advantages if a removal of the cargo from the large load carrier due to the nature of the cargo is not otherwise possible than by an outward flaps or removing the side walls.
- Examples of such cargo are warm filled in the large load carrier plastic or rubber. Therefore, the preferred large load carrier according to the invention is particularly suitable for receiving and transporting warm plastic materials that can cool in the large load carrier.
- the large load carrier according to the invention thus allows both during loading and unloading free access to the packaged goods, the large load carrier is particularly suitable for the transport of rubber blocks that are packaged warm in the large load carrier and set when cooling. In conventional large plastic load carriers, removal of the rubber blocks due to side wall deformation would be difficult or impossible. By providing at least one or better of all side walls, which can be folded completely outwards, the large load carrier according to the invention enables free access to goods stored in the large container.
- the connecting elements are designed such that, for a release of the side wall from the bottom, a flipping of the side wall by at least 5 °, preferably by at least 8 ° and more preferably by at least 12 ° outwards is required.
- the connecting elements are in a vertical position of the side wall relative to the ground in engagement with each other, so that the side walls are fixed to the ground.
- Fastener elements according to the invention are dovetailed connections, in particular dovetailed connections with round heads, which are designed such that an outward flapping of the side wall is possible and, moreover, an outward flapping of the side wall leads to a disengagement of the engagement of the connecting elements with one another.
- the engagement flanks of the connecting elements are arranged so that an outward flaps of the side wall is possible.
- the connecting elements are designed such that when the wall is arranged vertically, it is impossible to move the wall relative to the floor in the translatory direction, ie in the plane of the floor perpendicular to the plane of the floor.
- the connecting elements are designed such that the only possible movement of a wall standing vertically on the floor is that the wall can be tilted about an axis which leads through the connecting elements.
- clips and / or a bolt are provided for connecting the side walls with each other.
- Other ways to connect the side walls are latching elements or screw connections.
- corresponding elements are provided for connecting the side walls to each other, which allow such a connection and which also allow the connection to be released.
- the side walls journal connections or tongue and groove connections have for connection with each other, so that the side walls with each other not only by the above-mentioned releasable elements is formed, but in addition to better stiffening of the connection, the additional pin or the additional Tongue and groove systems are provided.
- the pallet-shaped bottom has a width between 600 mm and 1,400 mm, preferably between 800 mm and 1,000 mm. Furthermore, the pallet-shaped bottom preferably has a length between 1,000 mm and 1,600 mm, preferably between 1,000 mm and 1,200 mm. A particularly preferred embodiment has a pallet-shaped bottom having a dimension of about 1,200 mm x 800 mm or about 1,200 mm x 1,000 mm. In these size ranges, the advantages of the invention are particularly pronounced, wherein a use of the invention in other dimensions is also conceivable.
- the dovetail connection elements are designed such that an inward folding of the side walls is made possible.
- This offers the advantage that for transporting the large load carrier in the empty state, the side walls can be folded inwards, so that the so-folded large load carrier has a much smaller dimension.
- the large load carrier for the function of inwardly folding the side walls on the bottom edge of at least one of the side walls on a hook-like undercut to store the side wall in an inwardly folded state on an anchoring element of the soil.
- bearings is to be understood in general terms, ie that the anchoring element fixes the position of the side wall at least for translational movements in the plane of the soil.
- the anchoring element is preferably designed so that an upward removal of the side wall is possible. This can be accomplished, for example, that is used as an anchoring element an upstanding pin or spur or just a marginal undercut on a baseboard of the floor, on which the bottom-side connecting elements are arranged.
- the hook-like undercut then preferably engages in the edge-side undercut of the baseboard, if the side wall is folded inwards.
- the edges of the floor at least one, preferably two baseboards in which the connecting elements of the floor, so the bottom-side connecting elements are arranged.
- the baseboards offer several advantages.
- particularly embodiments of the invention are preferred in which the height of the baseboards is such that a juxtaposition of the side walls in an inwardly folded state of the side walls and receiving the side walls between the baseboards is possible. This means that the side walls can be placed successively on one another, or at least two sidewalls arranged side by side can be superimposed in the folded state.
- FIG. 1 an inventive large load carrier 1 is shown.
- the large load carrier 1 is in the Fig. 1 shown in a state in which four side walls 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 are folded slightly outwardly from the vertical.
- the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 are arranged on a pallet-shaped bottom 3 of the large load carrier 1.
- the substructure of the pallet-shaped bottom 3 corresponds to that of conventional pallet-shaped bottoms with support blocks to provide clearance between the support blocks, so that the pallet-shaped bottom 3 can be lifted with the fork of a forklift.
- the configuration of the connection of the pallet-shaped bottom with the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 will be explained in more detail below with reference to the next figures.
- pins 5 which are arranged on the side walls 2.1 and 2.3 and which in the closed state of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4, ie in the vertical position of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4, in circular openings 6 of the side walls 2.2 and 2.4, intervene.
- the particular pin-like pin 5 are provided on the vertical edge narrow side surfaces of the side walls 2.1 and 2.3 and the openings 6 at the edges of the inner surfaces of the side walls 2.2 and 2.4, not limiting two to four bolts and openings are provided depending on the height of the side walls, the are arranged at intervals to each other.
- the pin 5 and the circular openings 6 are due to the perspective view of Fig. 1 in the Fig. 1 only partially visible.
- tongue and groove combinations 7 are provided, which also interlock with perpendicular side walls 2.1 to 2.4.
- the pins 5, circular openings 6 and tongue and groove combinations 7 serve to stabilize the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 when the state of the large load carrier 1 is closed, that is, when the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 are vertical.
- brackets are provided for fixing the side walls 2.1 to 2.4, with which the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 can be fastened together.
- the tongue and groove combinations are arranged here in vertical alignment with the pin 5 and 6 openings.
- the Fig. 2 shows the large load carrier 1 of the invention Fig. 1 in the closed state, ie with vertical and interconnected side walls 2.1 to 2.4.
- the same reference numerals designate the same parts as in FIG Fig. 1 ,
- the connecting elements 10.1 and 10.2 are divided into wall-side connecting elements 10.1, which are designed in one piece with one of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 and bottom-side connecting elements 10.2, which are designed in one piece with the pallet-shaped bottom 3.
- the connecting elements 10.1 and 10.2 are used in conjunction with the descriptions of Fig. 3 and 6 described in more detail.
- FIG. 3 are details of the total formed of plastic large load carrier 1 of Fig. 1 shown in more detail, again like reference numerals designate like parts.
- Fig. 3 is a. Part of the side wall 2.2 and a part of the pallet-shaped bottom 3 cut and shown schematically. It can be seen that on the side wall 2.2 at its foot end a wall-side and downwardly projecting connecting element 10.1 is arranged.
- the wall-side connecting element 10.1 has a dovetail 12, of which in the Fig. 3 only a flank can be seen.
- the dovetail 12 is intended to be inserted into a dovetail receptacle 13, wherein of the dovetail receptacle 13 in the Fig. 3 again only one flank shown is.
- the bottom side connecting element 10.2 also has an insertion aid 14, which is provided to bring a foot 15 of the wall-side connecting element 10.1 in the correct position. Furthermore, a stop bar 16 is provided in the bottom-side connecting element 10.2 in order to keep the foot 15 exactly in position.
- the dovetail receptacle 13 it can also be seen that it is designed in such a way that an oblique insertion of the dovetail 12 is possible until the foot 15 is received in the bottom-side connecting element 10.2.
- the dovetail 12 engages in the dovetail receptacle 13 and the side wall can then no longer perform a translational movement, both in the plane of the bottom and perpendicular to the plane of the soil.
- connections of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 with each other is thus then given a secure fixation of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 on the bottom 3.
- FIG. 3 can also be seen how a release of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 from the bottom 3 is made possible.
- an outward flaps of the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 here for example by 15 °, the engagement of the dovetail 12 is dissolved in the dovetail receptacle 13, so that then the side wall 2.2 again against the direction of the arrow A can be pulled out of the bottom-side connecting element 10.2.
- a pin receptacle 20 which is intended to receive the pin 5 of the side walls 2.1 or 2.3.
- the pin receptacle 20 and the bottom-side connecting element 10.2 are arranged for the side wall 2.2 as for the side wall 2.4 in a baseboard 22 which extends vertically upwards at the edge of the pallet-shaped bottom.
- the skirting boards 22 arranged on both sides serve to form a fixation for the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 when the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 are laid down on the pallet-shaped bottom 3. How the side walls 2.1 to 2.4 can be stored on the pallet-shaped bottom 3 is based on the following Fig. 4 and 5 in which in turn the same reference numerals refer to like parts in the Fig. 1 to 3 referred, explained.
- Fig. 4 is a detail of the large load carrier 1 of the invention Fig. 1 enlarged shown schematically.
- the large load carrier 1 is shown in a folded state, in which at least the side walls 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 are stored on the pallet-shaped floor.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a large load carrier according to the preamble of claim 1.
Large load carriers are known from the prior art, which can be used for the transport of bulk material. In recent years, increasingly large load carriers have been spread, which are made of plastic. Plastic bulk carriers have the advantage that they are cheaper to manufacture and also have a lower weight than large steel carriers. At the same time, large plastic load carriers are comparatively stable.
However, if large load carriers are to receive warm materials, for example bulk plastic material obtained in the production of plastic parts, storage in large plastic load carriers is problematical since plastic has only low hot strength. This can lead to the fact that after filling of hot plastic in the large load carrier, the walls of the large load carrier are charged so that they deform. The background is that the warm plastic filled in the large load carrier still settles or flows while it is cooling down.
The deformation of the side walls of conventional large load carriers made of plastic when filling warm plastic materials represents only a comparatively small disadvantage in terms of capacity of the large load carrier or the strength of the large load carrier. But because of other reasons preferred large load carriers are used, which can be dismantled or folded For example, the deformation of the outer walls of such foldable or collapsible large load carriers may cause the folding or breaking mechanisms to cease to function due to tension. This represents a very significant disadvantage for the use of plastic for large load carriers which are to be used to absorb warm plastic or warm rubber from manufacturing processes.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a large load carrier, which consists at least partially of plastic and which is also not affected by the filling of hot plastic material or rubber so that disassembly or folding of the large load carrier is impossible. At the same time a lifting should be prevented in the erected position of the side walls.
The object is achieved with a large load carrier according to claim 1. The large load carrier according to the invention has the advantage that at least one side wall can be folded outwards.
By an outward flaps of the side walls is made possible that even with highly loaded or deformed side walls, the side walls of the transport can be solved well, so that access to the cargo without destruction of the side walls is possible. This offers particular advantages if a removal of the cargo from the large load carrier due to the nature of the cargo is not otherwise possible than by an outward flaps or removing the side walls. Examples of such cargo are warm filled in the large load carrier plastic or rubber. Therefore, the preferred large load carrier according to the invention is particularly suitable for receiving and transporting warm plastic materials that can cool in the large load carrier.
The large load carrier according to the invention thus allows both during loading and unloading free access to the packaged goods, the large load carrier is particularly suitable for the transport of rubber blocks that are packaged warm in the large load carrier and set when cooling. In conventional large plastic load carriers, removal of the rubber blocks due to side wall deformation would be difficult or impossible. By providing at least one or better of all side walls, which can be folded completely outwards, the large load carrier according to the invention enables free access to goods stored in the large container.
Preferably, the connecting elements are designed such that, for a release of the side wall from the bottom, a flipping of the side wall by at least 5 °, preferably by at least 8 ° and more preferably by at least 12 ° outwards is required. In this case, the connecting elements are in a vertical position of the side wall relative to the ground in engagement with each other, so that the side walls are fixed to the ground. Fastener elements according to the invention are dovetailed connections, in particular dovetailed connections with round heads, which are designed such that an outward flapping of the side wall is possible and, moreover, an outward flapping of the side wall leads to a disengagement of the engagement of the connecting elements with one another. For this purpose, the engagement flanks of the connecting elements are arranged so that an outward flaps of the side wall is possible. As a result, the connecting elements are designed such that when the wall is arranged vertically, it is impossible to move the wall relative to the floor in the translatory direction, ie in the plane of the floor perpendicular to the plane of the floor. Preferably, the connecting elements are designed such that the only possible movement of a wall standing vertically on the floor is that the wall can be tilted about an axis which leads through the connecting elements. Advantageously, clips and / or a bolt are provided for connecting the side walls with each other. Other ways to connect the side walls are latching elements or screw connections. It is essential in the context of the invention that corresponding elements are provided for connecting the side walls to each other, which allow such a connection and which also allow the connection to be released. Furthermore, it is preferred that the side walls journal connections or tongue and groove connections have for connection with each other, so that the side walls with each other not only by the above-mentioned releasable elements is formed, but in addition to better stiffening of the connection, the additional pin or the additional Tongue and groove systems are provided.
Preferably, the pallet-shaped bottom has a width between 600 mm and 1,400 mm, preferably between 800 mm and 1,000 mm.
Furthermore, the dovetail connection elements are designed such that an inward folding of the side walls is made possible. This offers the advantage that for transporting the large load carrier in the empty state, the side walls can be folded inwards, so that the so-folded large load carrier has a much smaller dimension. Preferably, the large load carrier for the function of inwardly folding the side walls on the bottom edge of at least one of the side walls on a hook-like undercut to store the side wall in an inwardly folded state on an anchoring element of the soil. Here, bearings is to be understood in general terms, ie that the anchoring element fixes the position of the side wall at least for translational movements in the plane of the soil. In this case, the anchoring element is preferably designed so that an upward removal of the side wall is possible. This can be accomplished, for example, that is used as an anchoring element an upstanding pin or spur or just a marginal undercut on a baseboard of the floor, on which the bottom-side connecting elements are arranged. The hook-like undercut then preferably engages in the edge-side undercut of the baseboard, if the side wall is folded inwards.
Advantageously, the edges of the floor at least one, preferably two baseboards in which the connecting elements of the floor, so the bottom-side connecting elements are arranged. The baseboards offer several advantages. Thus, particularly embodiments of the invention are preferred in which the height of the baseboards is such that a juxtaposition of the side walls in an inwardly folded state of the side walls and receiving the side walls between the baseboards is possible. This means that the side walls can be placed successively on one another, or at least two sidewalls arranged side by side can be superimposed in the folded state.
