Die entnommenen Mengenströme aus flüssiger Phase und Gasphase werden anschließend miteinander gemischt. Dadurch kann die Zusammensetzung des insgesamt entnommenen Gemisches innerhalb eines vorgegebenen Konzentrationsbereiches gehalten werden.
