Description

The invention has for its object to develop a comparable cardboard furniture that can be easily combined on the smallest possible volume and can be set up again with relatively little effort.

This object is achieved by a cardboard furniture with the characterizing features of the main claim in conjunction with the features of the preamble of the main claim. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention will become apparent with the features of the subclaims.

It is particularly advantageous if the bending edges which connect the side walls to the rear wall are each realized by a pair of folding lines, so that a sufficiently wide folding is possible even in the case of double or multi-layered side walls.

In Fig. 1 is a blank of a piece of corrugated cardboard to see, from which a support for a collapsible cardboard shelf is formed. This carrier has a rear wall 1 and two side walls 3 connected to the rear wall 1 via a respective bending edge 2. 1. Cardboard furniture comprising a carrier and at least one console (10) that can be mounted on the carrier, wherein the carrier has a back wall (1) and two side walls (3), which are hingeably connected to the back wall (1) by way of folding edges (2), and wherein the console (10) has a base surface (11) and at least two tabs (12), which are disposed on two mutually opposing sides of the base surface (10) and are received in slots (8) in the two side walls (3), wherein the console (10) further has two folding lines (13), which are extended when the cardboard furniture is set up and together with the back wall (1) and with the side walls (3) of the carrier form a respective non-vanishing angle and which extend obliquely through the base surface (11) toward one of the respective folding edges (2) that connect the side walls (3) of the carrier to the back wall (1),

Cardboard furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the side walls (3) comprise two layers (4, 5), respectively, wherein the slots (8) receiving the tabs (12) are situated in a layer (5) facing the respective other side wall (3), and wherein the tabs (12) are located between the two layers (4, 5) of the respective side wall (3).
3. Cardboard furniture according to either claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the console (10) is produced from a piece of cardboard.
4. Cardboard furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tabs (12) are angled downwardly on a rim of the console (10).
5. The cardboard furniture according to claim 4, characterized in that the tabs (12) are hinged to the base surface (11) of the console by way of folding edges on the rim of the console (10).
6. The cardboard furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the console (10) comprises four tabs (12), two of which are mounted in each of the respective side walls (3).
7. The cardboard furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized by being a shelf, wherein the at least one console (10) forms a shelf bottom or a support for a shelf bottom that rests on the console (10).
8. The cardboard furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a reinforcement layer (16) rests on the console (10), wherein a rim of the reinforcement layer (16) is seated against the back wall (1) and the side walls (3) of the carrier.

12. The cardboard furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the base surface (11) has a cut-out (15) at a point toward which the oblique folding lines (13) and the additional folding line (14) converge.
