- a read job for a local automatic address reader 112 is first generated and transmitted to the corresponding address reader 112. If the read result returned by the automatic address reader 112 in response to the read request contains the postal code of the recipient address, the read result is returned to the sorting machine 110 which has acquired the mailing image. If the postal code is not contained in the reading result, the reading result is output by the control device 111. next recorded in the broadcast record that has been generated for the broadcast image.
