Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims all benefits of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2008-135387 filed on December 29, 2008 in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosures of which are incorporated herein by reference.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention
  • The invention relates to a roller-type dual cosmetic case having an airless pump, and more particularly, to a roller-type dual cosmetic case having an airless pump wherein a so-called roller-type cosmetic case, which enables the cosmetics stored in a cosmetic case to be applied on the skin using a rolling-operated roller, is formed into a case body of a dual structure and an airless pump is provided, so that a foreign material or air is basically prevented from being introduced from the outside during the non-use of the cosmetics and the contents of the cosmetic case are thus prevented from being contaminated and deteriorated and the cosmetics are discharged in a constant amount all the time by operating the pump during the use of the cosmetics, thereby enabling the contents to be used more conveniently and efficiently.
  • Description of the prior art
  • In general, the cosmetics of cream type such as sun cream are stored in a tube-type cosmetic case. The tube-type cosmetic case is used as a case that efficiently seals and stores the contents such as medical supplies of a cream type, toothpaste and various detergents such as shampoo as well as cosmetics.
  • The tube-type cosmetic case is structured in such a manner that a surface thereof is artificially compressed to discharge the contents therein through an injection port. The cosmetic case may be comprised of various materials such as aluminum, laminate, synthetic resin and the like, depending on the contents to be stored. However, when the case is used as a cosmetic case, a soft synthetic resin material is normally used for the case.
  • The tube consisting of the soft synthetic resin material has advantages that the contents can be efficiently stored therein and the tube can be conveniently used. However, since the tube is comprised of the flexible synthetic resin material, the overall volume is decreased as the contents are discharged, so that its external shape is deformed.
  • As the external shape of the tube is gradually distorted as the used amount, the original shape cannot be kept, so that the external appearance becomes poorer. In other words, the structure quality and the product quality are remarkably deteriorated. Furthermore, due to the deformed external shape, the preservation ability is lowered and it is not easy to handle the product.
  • Further, the conventional tube-type cosmetic case has such a structure that an opening thereof is opened and closed by a stopper and the contents are discharged as the surface thereof is compressed. Accordingly, during the use, the exterior air is always introduced into the case. Furthermore, since the contents are discharged by the compression, it is difficult to discharge the contents in a necessary fixed amount.
  • Recently, in order to solve the above problems, a so-called roller-type cosmetic case has been suggested in which a separate roller being idling is mounted to an opening of a tube-type storage case, thereby enabling the contents discharged from the storage case to be smeared on a surface of the roller and thus to be efficiently applied to the skin of a user.
  • According to this structure, the contents discharged from the storage case are smeared on the surface of the roller being idling and then applied to the skin. Thus, it is easy to apply the cosmetics. However, it is difficult to discharge the contents in a proper amount, which can be used at one time.
  • To be more specific, the surface of the storage case should be compressed so as to discharge the contents in the storage case. However, the compression force is not always constant, so that the more or less contents are discharged. Thus, it is not convenient to use it and the unnecessary waste is caused.
  • Further, although the opening of the storage case is air-tightly contacted to the surface of the roller, a separate closing means is not provided. Hence, the exterior air is introduced or the moisture included in the contents are evaporated through the opening during the non-use of the cosmetics, thereby deteriorating the function of the contents and contaminating and spoiling the contents.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above problems occurring in the prior art.
  • An object of the invention is to improve a structure of a roller-type dual cosmetic case, i.e., to form a storage case of the roller-type cosmetic case into a dual structure and to mount a separate airless pimp to an opening of the cosmetic case, thereby providing a roller-type dual cosmetic case having an airless pump enabling cosmetics of a liquid state as well as cosmetics of a cream state to be conveniently and safely stored and used.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a roller-type dual cosmetic case having an airless pump capable of blocking the external air and foreign substance from being introduced into the cosmetic case to prevent the contents therein from being evaporated or contaminated and deteriorated and discharging the contents in a proper amount when using the cosmetics to conveniently use the contents.
  • In order to achieve the above objects, there is provided a roller-type dual cosmetic case comprising a tube-type inner case made of a flexible material and storing cosmetics of a cream or liquid state; a rigid outer case provided to an outside of the inner case to form a dual structure and protecting the inner case from the outside; a head provided to an opening of the outer case and having a mount space in which an airless pump is provided and a flow passage of contents; a roller of a sponge material horizontally provided to an upper part of the head and enabling the contents to be applied to the skin by an idling thereof; and an airless pump provided in the head and enabling the contents stored in the inner case to be discharged to the roller with pumping force caused by a push operation of a push button.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present invention rather unclear.
  • Figs. 1 and 2 show an overall structure of an outward shape of a roller-type dual cosmetic case to which the invention is applied, Figs. 3 and 4 specifically show an inside structure of a roller-type dual cosmetic case according to the invention and Figs. 5 to 7 show a detailed structure of the invention.
  • In Figs., a reference numeral 100 indicates a main body of a roller-type dual cosmetic case according to the invention, which comprises a tube-type inner case 10 made of a flexible material and storing a variety of cosmetics, a rigid outer case 20 provided to an outside of the inner case to form a dual structure and protecting the inner case from the outside, a head 30 provided to an upper opening of the outer case 20 and having a flow passage of contents, a roller 40 horizontally provided to an upper face of the head 30 and enabling the contents to be applied to the skin by an idling thereof, and an airless pump 50 provided between a nozzle and the inner case in the head 30 and enabling the contents to be discharged to the roller by a push operation.
  • To be more specific, the inner case 10 is formed into a tube shape so as to easily store the cosmetics of a liquid state as well as the cosmetics of a cream type. For example, the inner case is made of a flexible material such as aluminum, laminate, synthetic resin and the like so as to block the light transmitting from the outside, for example ultraviolet rays.
  • As the inner case 10 is formed into a tube shape of a flexible material, a fixing element 11 made of a hard synthetic resin is formed at an upper part of the inner case and a discharge pipe 12 through which the contents are discharged is formed at a center of the fixing element 11. Through the fixing element 11, the airless pump 50 that will be described later is fixedly mounted.
  • Accordingly, it is possible to safely store various contents in the inner case 10 for a long time and to smoothly discharge the contents through the discharge pipe 12 by a pumping operation of the airless pump 50 when using the cosmetics.
  • In addition, the outer case 20 protecting the inner case is made of a hard synthetic resin material capable of maintaining an overall outward shape of the cosmetic case main body 100 and having an opening at its upper part. The inner case 10 is inserted and protected in the outer case. The outer case is formed at a predetermined position of a bottom surface with an air hole 21 for a contraction operation of the inner case 10 of a tube type.
  • Considering fanciness of the main body 100 of the cosmetic case, the outer case 20 may have a variety of outward appearances such as quadrangle, circle and the like. Further, a variety of colors may be added to the outer case and various patterns may be printed or attached on a surface thereof.
  • In addition, the upper opening of the outer case 20 is mounted with the head 30 that has therein a mount space 31 in which the airless pump 50 can be mounted. Additionally, the head has at its upper part hinge holes 32 in which the roller 40 being idling can be horizontally mounted and at a center a nozzle 33 enabling the contents to be discharged to the roller 40.
  • The head 30 has a connection function of connecting the inner and outer cases 10, 20 storing the contents and the roller 40 enabling the contents to be applied to the skin and a mount function of mounting the airless pump 50.
  • Thus, the head has therein the mount space 31 and at its one side a mount hole through which an operating button of the airless pump 50 mounted in the mount space 31 is exposed to the outside.
  • In addition, the roller 40 mounted at the upper part of the head 30 is made of a soft sponge material and is formed at both ends with a rotation axis 41, so that it is mounted to be idling while the axis is supported at the hinge holes 32 of the head 30. The nozzle 33 mounted at the upper part of the head 30 is closely engaged to the roller 40.
  • At this time, the roller 40 is made of a sponge material having predetermined cushion so that the contents of a gel or liquid state can be softly and easily applied to the skin of a user.
  • In addition, the airless pump 50 mounted in the mount space 31 of the head 30 is horizontally mounted from the head 30. Thus, as the operation button is horizontally pushed, the pump vertically discharges the contents.
  • To be more specific, a housing 51 is mounted to connect a discharge pipe 15 of the inner case 10 and the nozzle 33 to vertically communicate therebetween. The housing 51 is formed at its inner center with a cylindrical support pipe 52 to be horizontal and a piston 54 is horizontally mounted to the support pipe 52 by a return spring 53 so that the piston can advance and retreat with being supported to the support plate. As a result, pumping force is provided.
  • In addition, the piston 54 is mounted with the operation button 55 so that a part thereof is protruded to the outside of the head 30. The operation button 55 is mounted so that a horizontal push operation can be made from one side of the head 30.
  • Further, front and rear valves 56, 57 for opening and closing fluid passages vertically communicating with each other are respectively mounted to front and rear sides of the housing 51. Each of the front and rear valves 56, 57 is a disc valve and a ball is connected to a center thereof by an elastic piece, as can be seen from the drawings. Further, each of the valves is a check valve that enables the contents to flow in a fluid flowing direction and blocks the contents from flowing in a reverse direction.
  • The cosmetic case 100 of the invention structured as described above is used as a dedicated cosmetic case that efficiently stores a variety of cosmetics consisting of cream, as described above.
  • As can be seen from the drawings, the contents are vacuum-stored in the inner case 10. As the airless pump 50 mounted at the upper head 30 is operated, the contents are discharged to the roller 40 and then applied to the skin by a rolling operation of the roller 40.
  • In other words, the flexible inner case 10 of a tube type stores therein the contents and is mounted in the rigid outer case 20, so that it is safely protected from the outside. The head 30 is mounted at the upper parts of the inner and outer cases, and the airless pump 50 and the roller 40 of a soft sponge material are respectively mounted at the inside and the upper part of the head 30.
  • Like this, as the airless pump 50 is mounted at the upper part of the inner case 10, the air-tight state is maintained, so that the air or foreign substance is basically blocked from being introduced from the outside. Thus, it is possible to safely store the contents for a long time.
  • When using the contents in the cosmetic case 100, a user first opens a cover 60 and pushes the operation button 55 of the airless pump 50 exposed from one side of the head 30. By the pushing force, the piston 54 connected to the operation button 55 compresses a compression chamber 52 while pushing the return spring 53. By the compression force, the upper part of the compression chamber 52, i.e. the rear valve 57 is opened and the front valve 56 is closed, so that the contents filled in the compression chamber 52 are discharged to the outside through the nozzle 33 and then attached to the surface of the roller 40.
  • Accordingly, when the contents, which are discharged in a predetermined amount, are attached to the surface of the roller 40, the user can conveniently and effectively apply on the contents just by rubbing the roller 40 on the desired skin.
  • At this time, the surface of the roller 40 is closely contacted to the leading end of the nozzle 33 and the roller 40 is made of a soft sponge material having predetermined cushion, so that the discharged contents are not diffused to the outside. Thus, it is possible to use the contents safely and conveniently. In particular, the roller 40 directly contacting the skin is made of a sponge material, so that it is possible to provide very soft and flexible properties and to improve an application efficiency of the contents.
  • To the contrary, when the pushed operation button 55 is released, the compressed return spring 53 is returned, so that the operation button 55 is retreated to return to its original position. As a result, the vacuum pressure prevails in the compression chamber 52, so that the front valve 56 is opened and the rear valve 57 is closed. As a result, the contents in the inner case 10 are introduced in the compression chamber 52 and stands by for next operation.
  • By repeating the above operations, it is possible to efficiently use the contents filled in the inner case 10. Particularly, it is possible to discharge the contents to the roller 40 in a constant amount all the time by one pushing operation. As a result, it is possible to conveniently use the contents and to reduce the unnecessary waste. Furthermore, it is possible to remarkably improve the application efficiency of the contents by the softness of the roller 40.
  • As described above, the roller-type dual cosmetic case of the invention has the inner and outer cases, so that a cosmetic case of a dual structure is provided. While te inner case is formed into a flexible tube type enabling the contents to be protected from the ultraviolet rays, the external air and the like, the outer case is made of rigid synthetic resin so as to maintain an overall external shape. In addition, the separate airless pump is provided to the openings of the inner and outer cases. Thus, it is possible to use the cosmetic case while maintaining the external shape of the cosmetic case as it is and to store the contents more safely and conveniently.
  • In other words, by forming the roller-type cosmetic case into a dual structure of the inner and outer cases and providing the separate airless pump, it is possible to block the ultraviolet rays from transmitting through the surface of the storage case and to basically prevent the external air and foreign substance from being introduced through the opening, so that the contents can be safely stored. In addition, when using the cosmetics, the airless pump is operated to discharge the contents to the roller in a necessary amount, so that it is possible to conveniently use the contents.
  • In addition, according to the invention, due to the airless pump, the outside air is basically prevented from being introduced to the inner case storing the contents, so that the contents are prevented from being contaminated and deteriorated. Furthermore, the moisture of the contents is prevented from being evaporated, so that the storage ability is improved.
  • While the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
