Abstract

Figure imgaf001
The invention relates to a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine and an exhaust system (10, 10 ') with an exhaust pipe (12), by means of which exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine can be discharged, and an exhaust gas recirculation line (14), by means of which exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe (12) Internal combustion engine is traceable. In the exhaust gas recirculation line (14) an exhaust gas cooler (16) and a condensate line (24, 24 ') for discharging condensate from the recirculated exhaust gas is provided, wherein the condensate line (24, 24') with a first end (26) in the flow direction of Exhaust behind the exhaust gas cooler (16) with the exhaust gas recirculation line (14) and with a second end (30, 30 ') is connected to the exhaust pipe (12). During operation of the motor vehicle, the dynamic pressure at the first end (26) of the condensate line (24 ') corresponds to that at the second end (30') of the condensate line (24 '), so that any condensate can be removed without exhaust gas from the exhaust gas recirculation line (14 ) flows back into the exhaust pipe (12). Alternatively, a closure means (35) for closing the condensate line (24) may be provided. Both variants allow a simple discharge of condensation, without the need for elaborate steam traps or sump.
