Claims (10)

  1. Security device for a rifle comprising an insert (1) which can be inserted in a magazine well of the rifle in place of a magazine, a biometric sensor (13) arranged on the insert (1) and an actuating arrangement (15) arranged on the insert (1) and coupled with the biometric sensor (13), through which a locking mechanism (2) can be operated to releasably block off the magazine well depending on the data determined by the biometric sensor (13), characterised in that the locking mechanism (2) comprises a blocking element (17) blocking the action of the rifle with a blocking bar (18) which can be displaced by the actuating arrangement (15).
  2. Security device according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking mechanism (2) comprises locking elements (5) arranged on the insert (1) for lockable retention of the insert (1) in the magazine well of the rifle.
  3. Security device according to claim 2, characterised in that the locking mechanism (2) comprises blocking elements (9) which cooperate with the locking elements (5) and can be moved between a blocking position to prevent extraction of the insert (1) from the rifle and a releasing position for extraction of the insert (1) from the rifle.
  4. Security device according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the locking elements (5) are embodied in the form of sprung locking tabs with locking lugs (6) formed on the insert (1) for locking engagement in corresponding counterpart elements on the rifle.
  5. Security device according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that grips (8) are attached to the locking elements (5) for extraction of the insert (1) from the rifle.
  6. Security device according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the blocking elements (9) are adjustable by means of a longitudinal slide (10) connected with the actuating element (15).
  7. Security device according to claim 6, characterised in that the longitudinal slide (10) comprises wedge-shaped actuating faces (11) for engagement with correspondingly oblique counterpart faces (12) on the blocking elements (9).
  8. Security device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the biometric sensor (13) is coupled with the actuating element (15) by means of a logic module (14).
  9. Security device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the biometric sensor (13) is embodied in the form of a line sensor which detects the fingerprint line for line when the finger is moved past.
  10. Security device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the biometric sensor (13) is arranged on the underside of the insert (1).
