    a solid disk (12) received in the casing to rotate about an axis (9) substantially perpendicular to the front wall (2a, 2b) and the rear wall (3) of the casing, thereby subdividing the space inside the casing into a chipper chamber beside the front wall (2a, 2b) and a blower chamber beside the rear wall (3);
    at least one series of cutters (19, 20) comprising first cutters (19b) projecting from the face of the disk (12) that faces towards the front wall (2) so that said cutters cross the stationary blade (6a, 6b) during rotation of the disk (12), and a takeup second cutter (20) fastened in the vicinity of the periphery of the disk (12) to sweep a cylindrical surface centered on the axis of rotation (X) of the disk; and
    a side wall (21a, 21b) adjacent to the envelope of the volume swept by the cutters (19, 20) during rotation of the disk and perforated over at least a portion of its periphery;

A plant grinder for producing calibrated chips or particles of wood according to claim 1, characterized in that the disk (12) possesses a rear sheet (13) to which the wall segment (22a, 22b) is fastened and a front sheet (14) from which the first cutters (19) project towards the inlet opening (5) of the casing (1), and in that the front sheet (14) is notched ahead of the first cutters (19) in the direction of rotation (A) of the disk (12) with a pouch (18a, 18b) for recovering particles that are formed, the peripheral opening (16, 17) thereof facing the above-mentioned wall segment (22a, 22b).
  3.
