Definitions

  • the present invention concerns a device for containing waste particularly suited to be used in homes, offices or other public premises, especially for collecting light and bulky waste, like for example paper, cardboard, plastic, cans and the like.
  • the compactor generally comprises a moving plate arranged above the container, in which it can be thrusted using a manoeuvring grip that is accessible to a user and is connected to the compacting plate via a rod and/or lever mechanisms that push the plate towards the bottom of the container.

In particular, advantageously, when the device is positioned under a writing desk the user can comfortably use it while he/she remains seated.
