• applying (16) an adhesive layer (11) within a sequence of layers (9) to the bottom (4), wherein the adhesive layer (11) is suitable for and/or designed to attaching/attach the hairpiece (1) to the bald patch;

• applying a removable protective layer (12) to the adhesive layer (11), wherein the protective layer (12) is curved as a result of a shaping process so that it is an all-over layer that has no wrinkles.
A method for applying a hairpiece (1) according to any one of the preceding claims 1 to 11 to a bald patch of a part of the body, characterized in that
the protective layer (12) is removed (18) in and/or during the process of application to the bald patch.
