Abstract

The invention relates to a with a joint transition provided bridge of a highway. The top joint element has an embedded reinforcement of rubber material and both joint elements are made of a mixture of rubber and road-metal, bound by bitumen and within each supporting beam a sheet like and tension proof reinforcement element of glass fibre fabric extends over the complete width of the supporting beam and is connected to both joint elements.
