Claims (10)

  1. Adapter, for the starter switch of an antitheft device for an automobile wherein said switch is a low-current switch (7) carried by a connector (4) able to be fastened onto a corresponding antitheft device stator (1), said low-current switch (7) comprising at least one element sensitive to a magnetic field and able to cooperate with a permanent magnet (6) carried by a corresponding antitheft device rotor (2),
    characterised in that it comprises a high-current power module (9) able to be fastened onto the connector (4) and able to be connected to said low-current switch (7) by the intermediary of the tracks of the connector (4), in order to transpose the low-current signals of said switch in the form of high-current signals.
  2. Adapter according to claim 1, characterised in that said power module (9) comprises at the input pins (10) able to receive a low current and at the output pins (11) able to transmit a high current.
  3. Adapter according to claim 2, characterised in that the pins at the output (11) of said power module (9) are extended substantially vertically and above the pins at the input (10) of said power module (9).
  4. Adapter according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that said power module (9) comprises at least one power amplifier.
  5. Adapter according to claim 4, characterised in that said power amplifier is a power relay (12).
  6. Adapter according to one of claims 2 and 3 in combination with claim 5, characterised in that the pins (10, 11) of said power module and the power relay (12) are arranged on opposite faces of a printed circuit (13).
  7. Antitheft device characterised in that it comprises an adapter according to any of claims 1 to 6.
  8. Antitheft device according to claim 7, characterised in that said element sensitive to a magnetic field is a Reed switch (7A, 7B).
  9. Antitheft device according to claim 7, characterised in that said element sensitive to a magnetic field is a Hall effect sensor, or a static or electromagnetic relay.
  10. Connector for antitheft device according to any of claims 7 to 9, able to be mounted on the stator (1) of the antitheft device, characterised in that said connector (4) carries:
    - a low-current switch (7) comprising at least one element sensitive to a magnetic field able to cooperate with a permanent magnet (6) carried by the rotor (2) of the antitheft device, and
    - an adapter according to any of claims 1 to 6, comprising a high-current power module (9) connected to the low-current switch (7) by the tracks of the connector (4).
