Abstract

Bei einer Hörvorrichtung (8) soll verhindert werden, dass ein Schall (11) aus einer Umgebung eines Ohrs (6, 7) eines Trägers der Hörvorrichtung beispielsweise durch eine Belüftungsöffnung (9) zu einem Trommelfell (13) des Trägers als ein Störschall (12) gelangt. Anders als bei speziell für einen Lärmschutz gebauten Hörgarnituren ist es bei vielen Hörvorrichtungen nicht möglich, einen solchen Störschall (12) mittels einer aktiven Geräuschkompensation breitbandig zu kompensieren. Die Hörvorrichtungen weisen nicht die benötigten speziellen Komponenten auf. Daher lässt sich kein Kompensationsschallsignal mit einer korrekten Phase bilden. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Kompensationsschall (15) lediglich für ein verhältnismäßig schmales spektrales Band erzeugt. Dieses spektrale Band wird in Abhängigkeit von einem Hörvermögen des Trägers der Hörvorrichtung und/oder in Abhängigkeit von einer spektralen Verteilung der Energie des Störschalls (12) oder eines den Störschall (12) hervorrufenden Schalls (11) bestimmt. Die Erfindung eignet sich insbesondere zum Kompensieren eines Störschalls (12) bei einem Hörgerät (8).

In a hearing device (8) to prevent a sound (11) from an environment of an ear (6, 7) of a wearer of the hearing device, for example through a ventilation opening (9) to an eardrum (13) of the wearer as a noise (12 ). Unlike hearing aids built specifically for noise protection, it is not possible with many hearing devices to compensate for such a background noise (12) by means of an active noise compensation in a broadband manner. The hearing aids do not have the required special components. Therefore, no compensation sound signal having a correct phase can be formed. According to the invention, a compensation sound (15) is generated only for a relatively narrow spectral band. This spectral band is determined as a function of a hearing ability of the wearer of the hearing device and / or in dependence on a spectral distribution of the energy of the background noise (12) or a sound (11) causing the background noise (11). The invention is particularly suitable for compensating for background noise (12) in a hearing device (8).
