Die Flächenpressung kann durch den Erfindungsvorschlag in jeder Einbausituation sehr niedrig gehalten werden. Verformungen der die Nuten begrenzenden Stege sind auch bei sehr hohen Kräfteeinwirkungen praktisch ausgeschlossen. Die Profilabschnitte sind so gestaltet, dass sie an jeder Stelle der Pfosten und/oder Riegel montiert werden können. In besonders vorteilhafter Weise ist der in die hinterschnittene Nut des Pfostens eingreifende Endbereich jedes Profilabschnittes derart winkelförmig gestaltet, dass beide Profilabschnitte durch eine aufeinander zugerichtete Schwenkbewegung in die Nuten einbringbar sind. Durch die besondere Gestaltung der Endbereiche der Profilabschnitte können diese sinngemäß in die hinterschnittenen Nuten eingedreht werden. Dies kann an jeder Stelle der Pfosten oder Riegel auch nach der Endmontage der Fassade erfolgen. Die Endabschnitte der Konsolen liegen schließend in den Nuten. Damit das Eindrehen oder Einschwenken der Profilabschnitte in die Nuten ohne Kraftaufwand und beschädigungsfrei erfolgen kann, ist zweckmäßig vorgesehen, dass die in der Einbaustellung einander zugewandten Eckbereiche der im Winkel zueinander stehenden Endstege abgeschrägte oder abgerundete Auflaufflächen besitzen.
