Abstract

Elektronisches Vorschaltgerät zum Betrieb wenigstens einer Lampe (La), vorzugsweise einer Gasentladungslampe, mit einem zwischen einem ersten (S1) und einem zweiten Schalter (S2) angeordneten Mittenabgriff (M), an den in Serie eine Drossel (L1) und ein erster Kondensator (C1) gekoppelt sind, vorzugsweise mit einem weiteren an einem Bezugspotential liegenden Kondensator (C2), wobei der erste Kondensator (C1) vorzugsweise mit einem Anschluss für die Lampe (La) verbunden ist, sowie mit einem einen Messeingang (CS) aufweisenden IC (1), der zum Betrieb des Vorschaltgeräts vorgesehen ist, wobei der Messeingang (CS) zwischen einem mit dem Bezugspotential verbundenen Shunt (R1) und einem Schalter (S2) eingekoppelt ist, wobei eine Begrenzungsschaltung vorgesehen ist, die das am Shunt (R1) abfallende Signal zum Erreichen vorgegebener Signalpegel am Messeingang (CS) variiert, vorzugsweise in seiner Amplitude begrenzt. Ebenfalls wird ein Beleuchtungsgerät und ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines elektronischen Vorschaltgeräts und/oder eines ein solches aufweisenden Beleuchtungsgeräts beansprucht.
