Definitions
- the invention relates to a piston pump according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a piston pump is for example by the DE 10 2006 045 933 A1 known.
- This known piston pump is provided for a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine and designed as a radial piston pump with a rotatably mounted drive shaft.
- a pump piston Radially to the drive shaft, a pump piston is slidably guided, which is supported on a rotatably mounted in a roller shoe roller on the drive shaft and driven by a cam track of the drive shaft in a lifting movement.
- the roller shoe is pressed into a cylindrical plunger body, which in turn guided in a plunger guide bore of the pump housing both liftable and is freely rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis.
- the rotation of the drive shaft is thus converted by means of cam track, roller, roller shoe and plunger body in an axial movement to drive the pump piston.
- An arranged within the plunger body compression spring presses on a spring plate, which engages over the pump piston to hold it in contact with the roller shoe.
- the spring plate is also on a stop of the plunger body to hold it in contact with the roller shoe.
- a plunger body guided in the pump housing is no longer required.
- the held on the pump piston piston holder ensures on the one hand the system of the pump piston to the roller shoe and on the other hand, the system of the roller on the roller shoe on the cam track.
- Fig. 1 is a high-pressure pump 1 for a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, for example a motor vehicle shown schematically.
- the high-pressure pump 1 while fuel under high pressure of up to 2000 bar is promoted, for example, in a memory, is taken from the fuel for injection to the internal combustion engine.
- the high-pressure pump 1 is designed as a radial piston pump and has a multi-part pump housing 2 , in which a drive shaft 3 is rotatably supported about an axis 4 in two thrust bearings 5 designed as bearing bushes. Between the shaft sections 6a, 6b mounted in the axial bearings 5, the drive shaft 3 has a cam track 7 which drives a pump piston 8 in a stroke movement.
- the pump piston 8 is slidably guided in the pump housing 2 in a radially extending to the rotation axis 4 of the drive shaft 3, formed in a cylindrical shaft 9 cylinder bore 10 and is supported via a rotatably mounted in a roller shoe 12 roller 13 on the cam track 7 from.
- the roller shoe 12 is in turn pressed into an integrally manufactured piston holder 14 which is freely rotatably mounted on the pump piston 8 about the piston axis 15 of the pump piston 8.
- a compression spring 16 presses the pump piston 8 against the roller shoe 12 via the piston holder 14, so that the pump piston 8 is supported on the drive shaft 3 via the roller 13.
- the roller 13 is held in contact with the cam track 7.
- the compression spring 16 presses on the piston holder 14, which rests in the pressure direction 17 of the compression spring 16 both on the pump piston 8 and on the roller shoe 11.
- the pump piston 8 is located with an enlarged diameter piston base 18 in the compression direction 17 of the compression spring 16 on the roller shoe 12 and is the piston holder 14 in the compression direction 17 of the compression spring 16 on the piston 18 and the roller shoe 12 at. More precisely, the piston holder 14 engages over the pump piston 8 and the roller shoe 12 in the pressure direction 17 of the compression spring 16.
- the compression spring 16 presses on one of the drive shaft 3 facing away from face 19 of the piston holder 14, whereby the pump piston 8 via the roller shoe 12 and the roller 13 in abutment held on the cam track 7, and in particular when the pump piston 8 performs a suction movement, that is in Fig. 2 a move down.
- the pump piston 8 engages with as little play a bearing opening 20 of the piston holder 14, whereby the piston holder 14 is freely rotatably mounted on the pump piston 8 about the piston axis 15 of the pump piston 8.
- the piston holder 14 is mounted exclusively on the pump piston 8, so not additionally guided in the pump housing 2 axially displaceable. As in Fig. 2 As shown, the roller shoe 12 is received in a recess 21 of the piston holder 14 that is open towards the drive shaft 3.
- FIGS. 3a and 3b shown embodiment by a different design of the pump piston 8 and the piston holder 14.
- the pump piston 8 At its not in the cylindrical shaft 9 guided end, the pump piston 8 has an annular groove 22 .
- the piston holder 14 has the bearing opening 20, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter r 1 of the annular groove 22, and an insertion opening 23 which merges into the bearing opening 20 and whose diameter corresponds at least to the piston diameter r 2 (r 2 > r 1 ).
- the bearing opening 20 and the insertion opening 23 together form a keyhole.
- the piston holder 14 For attachment to the pump piston 8, the piston holder 14 is first fitted with its larger insertion opening 23 on the pump piston 8 and then displaced radially to the piston axis 15, whereby the piston holder 14 engages with its bearing opening 20 in the annular groove 22 and secured to the pump piston 8.

According to the invention, a plunger body guided in the pump housing is no longer required. The held on the pump piston piston holder ensures on the one hand the system of the pump piston to the roller shoe and on the other hand, the system of the roller on the roller shoe on the cam track. These two functions are provided in conventional piston pumps by the plunger body guided in the pump housing and the spring plate.
