Once the power cord is loaded into the receptacle, it can be split and sectioned as needed to provide electrical power to the various fixtures or outlets 44. As will be appreciated, one or more electrical outlets 44 or fixtures 40 can be connected to the receptacle 28.
  • the U-shaped bracket 50 comprises the means for attaching the fixture support to the pool.
  • the U-shaped bracket 50 defines a clamp member and has a set of openings 54. Additionally, there are provided a set of bolts 56 for threading through the openings 54.
  • the U-shaped bracket 50 is deformable. As shown most clearly in Fig. 4 , the U-shaped bracket 50 deforms to conform to the shape of the frame of the pool. In the embodiment shown, the U-shaped bracket 50 is connected at a T-intersection of the pool frame.
  • the support member 22 is adapted for securing the attachment member or U-shaped bracket 50 to the fixture support by providing an adapter member 30 having openings 32 When the bolts 56 are threaded through the U-shaped bracket 50 and the adapter member 32, the U-shaped bracket 50 deforms, conforming to the shape of the pool frame, notably, the T-intersection of the pool frame.
  • the fixture support is attached to the pool frame through a side support instead of the top support of Figs. 2 - 4 .
  • the attachment member comprises a C-clamp 60.
  • the side C-clamp 60 has a pair of ears 62.
  • the ears 62 have openings 64.
  • the connecting bolts 56 are threaded through the openings 64 and into the adapter member 30 and openings 32. It will be appreciated that whether the C or U-shaped bracket 50 is used, the adapter 30 remains the same. This provides the fixture support with additional utility and flexibility. It also provides the consumer with an option for mounting. Additionally, the consumer has added flexibility because whatever over ground pool used can be readily adapted to either the C or U-shaped brackets.
  • the C-shaped bracket 60 is deformable to conform to the frame of the pool. As the bolts are tightened into the adapter, the clamp deforms, conforming to the pool frame shape.
  • various modules are attached to the receptacle 28.
  • other modules are easily attachable to the support member 22.
  • a skimmer or chlorinator is attachable to the receptacle 28.
  • the fixture support 20 connects readily to the pool frame itself and neither the liner nor the frame are damaged in any way. And, it will be appreciated that more than one module can be connected to the receptacle 28. For example, the light fixture and a skimmer may well be attached to the fixture support 10 at the same time.

Claims (9)

  1. Support d'appareil (20) pour une piscine hors-sol, la piscine comprenant une ossature supportant la piscine hors-sol, le cadre comprenant une série de montants (100) et de traverses (102), lesquels sont tous de manière générale perpendiculaires les uns aux autres, et un revêtement (104) supporté par l'ossature pour contenir de l'eau de piscine, le support d'appareil (20) comprenant :
    un élément de support (22), comprenant des moyens de fixation pour monter le support (20) sur l'ossature de piscine ;
    des moyens formant réceptacle d'appareil (28) reliés à l'élément de support (22) ; et
    un module d'appareil (40) agencé pour une liaison au réceptacle d'appareil (28) ;
    caractérisé par le fait que les moyens de fixation comprennent une attache déformable en forme de U ou en forme de C (50, 60) destinée à se conformer à l'ossature de piscine.
  2. Support d'appareil (20) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le module d'appareil (40) est un dispositif électrique et dans lequel le support (20) comprend des moyens formant conduit électrique pour recevoir un cordon d'alimentation électrique (42).

Support d'appareil (20) selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, dans lequel un élément adaptateur (30) ayant des ouvertures (32) est placé sur l'élément de support (22), des boulons (56) étant prévus pour fixer l'attache en forme de U ou en forme de C (50, 60) au support d'appareil (20), les boulons (56) étant vissés à travers l'attache en forme de U ou en forme de C (50, 60) et l'élément adaptateur (30).
  4. Support d'appareil (20) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel l'attache déformable en forme de U (50) est apte à être attachée à la partie supérieure du montant de piscine, avec l'attache (50) sur la traverse (102) et les boulons (56) à travers les deux parties (54) de l'attache en forme de U (50).
  5. Support d'appareil (20) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel l'attache déformable en forme de C (60) est apte à être attachée à un montant (100) de la piscine, avec l'attache (60) sur le poteau (100) et les boulons (56) à travers les deux parties (64) de l'attache en forme de C (60).
  6. Support d'appareil (20) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le réceptacle d'appareil (28) comprend une prise électrique (44) et dans lequel le support (20) comprend un conduit électrique pour un cordon d'alimentation électrique (42), et le cordon d'alimentation (42) est apte à être relié à la sortie électrique (44).
