  • the packets described herein are closer to a square cross-section than conventional hinged-lid packets. This can lead to more rigidity and protection of the enclosed product. It may also be feasible to reduce the amount card required to make the blank. Furthermore, the lid arrangement of Figure 1 avoids any problems with interference between the lid and the body of the pack (which might potentially arise if a conventional lid mechanism were to be used with a much fatter packet arrangement).

Claims (15)

  1. Packung für Rauchartikel, umfassend:
    einen Behälter, der eine vordere Tafel (11A), eine hintere Tafel (11B) und erste und zweite gegenüberliegende Seitentafeln (11D, 11E) enthält;
    einen ersten Deckel und einen zweiten Deckel (3,5), wobei der erste Deckel (3) durch ein erstes Scharnier (3H) an die erste Seitentafel (11E) angebracht ist und der zweite Deckel (5) durch ein zweites Scharnier (5H) an die erste Seitentafel (11E) oder an die zweite Seitentafel (11D) angebracht ist, wobei die Achse des ersten Scharniers (3H) und die Achse des zweiten Scharniers (5H) parallel zueinander sind,
    wobei, wenn der erste Deckel (3) geschlossen ist, die hintere Tafel (11B) und mindestens ein Teil der zweiten Seitentafel (11D) in dem ersten Deckel (3) verschachtelt sind, und wenn der zweite Deckel (5) geschlossen ist, die vordere Tafel (11A) und mindestens ein Teil der Seitentafel gegenüber dem zweiten Scharnier (5H) in dem zweiten Deckel verschachtelt ist.
  2. Packung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die ersten und zweiten Deckel (3, 5) jeweils eine obere Endtafel (3B, 5B) haben, die zusammen ein oberes Ende des Behälters völlig abdecken, wenn die ersten und zweiten Deckel geschlossen sind.
  3. Packung nach Anspruch 2, wobei die oberen Endtafeln (3B, 5B) der ersten und zweiten Deckel Schließkanten haben, die beim Schließen der ersten und zweiten Deckel (3, 5) gegeneinanderstoßen, um das obere Ende des Behälters abzudecken.
  4. Packung nach Anspruch 2, wobei die oberen Endtafeln (3B, 5B) der ersten und zweiten Deckel zumindest teilweise überlappen, wenn sie geschlossen sind.
  5. Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die ersten und zweiten Deckel (3, 5) jeweils eine untere Endtafel (3C, 5C) haben, die zusammen ein unteres Ende des Behälters völlig abdecken, wenn die ersten und zweiten Deckel geschlossen sind.
  6. Packung nach Anspruch 5, wobei die unteren Endtafeln (3C, 5C) der ersten und zweiten Deckel Schließkanten haben, die beim Schließen der ersten und zweiten Deckel gegeneinanderstoßen, um das untere Ende des Behälters abzudecken.
  7. Packung nach Anspruch 5, wobei die unteren Endtafeln (3C, 5C) zumindest teilweise überlappen, wenn die ersten und zweiten Deckel geschlossen sind.
  8. Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei der zweite Deckel (5) durch ein zweites Scharnier an die zweite Seitentafel (11D) angebracht ist und die ersten und zweiten Deckel (3, 5) sich beide zum Öffnen in dieselbe Richtung um ihre jeweiligen Scharniere drehen, oder der zweite Deckel (5) durch ein zweites Scharnier an die erste Seitentafel (11E) angebracht ist und die ersten und zweiten Deckel sich zum Öffnen in entgegengesetzte Richtungen um ihre jeweiligen Scharniere drehen.
  9. Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 8, wobei eine Öffnung an dem oberen Ende des Behälters vorgesehen ist, die einen ausgesparten Abschnitt (13) an der vorderen und/oder hinteren Tafel umfassen kann.
  10. Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei der Behälter einen Öffnungsabschnitt (15) enthält, um Zugang zu dem Inneren des Behälters bereitzustellen, der durch Perforationen definiert sein kann und der durch ein Scharnier an eine Seitenkante des Behälters angebracht sein kann und vollständig entfernbar sein kann.
  11. Packung nach Anspruch 10, wobei ein Öffnungsabschnitt (15) an jeder der vorderen und hinteren Tafeln (11A, 11B) vorgesehen ist.
  12. Packung nach Anspruch 11, wobei der Öffnungsabschnitt (15) sich auf eine obere Endtafel (3B, 5B) an dem oberen Ende des Behälters erstreckt und/oder sich auf eine untere Endtafel (3C, 5C) an dem unteren Ende des Behälters erstreckt.
  13. Packung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei eine Trennwand (11P) den Behälter in mindestens zwei Abteilungen unterteilt.
  14. Packung nach Anspruch 13, wobei der erste Deckel (3) eine der zwei Abteilungen abdeckt, wenn er geschlossen ist, und der zweite Deckel (5) die andere der zwei Abteilungen abdeckt, wenn er geschlossen ist.
  15. Ein Satz von Rohlingen (BR, BL), umfassend eine Vielzahl von Faltlinien, um die die Rohlinge gefaltet werden können, um die Packung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14 zu bilden, wobei ein erster der Rohlinge die hintere Tafel und den ersten Deckel enthält und ein zweiter der Rohlinge die vordere Tafel und den zweiten Deckel enthält.
