Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung sowie ein Verfahren zum Bearbeiten und/oder Schweißen eines rotationssymmetrischen Werkstücks (20) mit einem Laserstrahl (10), umfassend eine Umlenkeinrichtung (30), die im Wesentlichen in einer Ebene senkrecht zu der Rotationssymmetrieachse des Werkstücks (20) und ringförmig um das Werkstück (20) herum verläuft, wobei in den Bereich zwischen der Umlenkeinheit (30) und dem Werkstück (20) eine Gasströmung (50) zugeführt wird.
