Claims (14)

  1. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung,
    wobei die Vorrichtung aufweist:
    ein rohrförmiges Gehäuse (12) mit einem offenen unteren Ende (14) und einem offenen oberen Ende (16);
    eine Mehrzahl von Lamellenöffnungen (18) in einem unteren Abschnitt des rohrförmigen Gehäuses (12), um Luft in das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) zu saugen;
    ein entfernbares Oberteil (24), das an dem offenen oberen Ende (16) des rohrförmigen Gehäuses (12) angebracht ist, wobei das Oberteil (24) eine Mehrzahl von Austrittsöffnungen (26) enthält;
    eine Auskleidung (50), die in und an dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) angebracht ist;
    wobei die Austrittsöffnungen (26) des Oberteils (24) eine Gesamtfläche haben, die größer ist als eine Querschnittsfläche der Schlotöffnung, und wobei zumindest eine Öffnung durch die Auskleidung (50) benachbart den Lamellenöffnungen (18) vorgesehen ist;
    wobei die zumindest eine Öffnung durch die Auskleidung (50) derart angeordnet ist, dass zumindest ein Teil der durch die Lamellenöffnungen hindurchtretenden Atmosphärenluft in das Gehäuse und aufwärts strömt;
    gekennzeichnet durch einen entfernbaren Filtereinsatz (60) innerhalb des rohrförmigen Gehäuses (12), wobei der Filtereinsatz (60) ein katalytischer Wandler ist; und
    eine Mehrzahl von Trägern (64), die sich von der Auskleidung (50) erstrecken, um den Filtereinsatz (60) zu halten, wobei der entfernbare Filtereinsatz (60) in dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) über der Mehrzahl von Lamellenöffnungen (18) angeordnet ist und die zumindest eine Öffnung durch die Auskleidung (50) derart angeordnet ist, dass zumindest ein Teil der durch die Lamellenöffnungen (18) hindurchtretenden Atmosphärenluft in das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) hinein und aufwärts durch den Filtereinsatz (60) strömt.
  2. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, die eine innere Rahmen- und Montageanordnung (22) enthält, die nahe einem offenen unteren Ende (14) des rohrförmigen Gehäuses (12) angebracht ist, wobei sie ein Verankerungs- und Nivelliermittel aufweist, um die innere Rahmen- und Montageanordnung (22) zu verankern.
  3. Die Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 2, wobei die innere Rahmen- und Montageanordnung (22) Aufnahmen enthält, und wobei das Verankerungs- und Nivelliermittel eine Mehrzahl von Clips enthält, die in den Aufnahmen aufnehmbar sind.
  4. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) aus flachem Metallblech hergestellt ist.
  5. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Lamellenöffnungen (18) aus flachem Metallblech gestanzt sind.
  6. Die Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) einen Querschnitt in einer Form hat, die aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Achteck, Sechseck, Quadrat, Rechteck oder Kreis ausgewählt ist.
  7. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das abnehmbare Oberteil (24) an dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) durch Befestigungselemente befestigt ist.
  8. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Oberteil (24) einen Wärmeabweiser (32) enthält, um Gase zu den Austrittsöffnungen (26) hin zu lenken.
  9. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der katalytische Wandler einen Kern oder ein Substrat, eine Waschbeschichtung und einen Katalysator enthält.
  10. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 9, wobei der Kern oder das Substrat eine keramische Bienenwabenstruktur mit Gasströmungskanälen ist.
  11. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Waschbeschichtung und der Katalysator auf den Kern oder das Substrat aufgetragen sind.
  12. Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10) für eine Schlotöffnung nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Schlotöffnung ein hochstehendes Schlotrohr (20) enthält, und wobei das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) das Schlotrohr (20) umgibt.
  13. Verfahren zum Behandeln von Kohlenmonoxid- und unverbrannten Kohlenwasserstoff-Emissionen, die an einem gasbefeuerten Gerät erzeugt werden, wobei das Verfahren aufweist: Leiten der Abgase von dem gasbefeuerten Gerät von einer Schlotöffnung in ein rohrförmiges Gehäuse (12) einer Kaminabdeckungsvorrichtung (10);
    Bereitstellen einer Auskleidung (50), die in und an dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) angebracht ist;
    Zulassen, dass Atmosphärenluft durch Lamellenöffnungen (18) in einem unteren Abschnitt des rohrförmigen Gehäuses (12) in das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) eintritt;
    Zulassen, dass die Abgase und die Atmosphärenluft in dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) in und durch einen katalytischen Wandler-Filtereinsatz (60) hindurchtreten, der einen Kern oder ein Substrat, eine Waschbeschichtung und einen Katalysator aufweist, der in dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) durch eine Mehrzahl von Trägern (64) getragen ist, die sich von der Auskleidung (50) erstrecken;
    Behandeln der Emissionen in den Abgasen mit dem Filtereinsatz (60);
    Zulassen, dass Gase, die durch den Filtereinsatz (60) hindurchtreten, in einem abnehmbaren Oberteil (24) aufgenommen werden;
    Zulassen, dass Gase von dem abnehmbaren Oberteil (24) durch eine Mehrzahl von Austrittsöffnungen (26) in dem abnehmbaren Oberteil (24) treten, wobei die Austrittsöffnungen (26) eine Gesamtfläche haben, die größer ist als eine Querschnittsfläche der Schlotöffnung, und zumindest eine Öffnung durch die Auskleidung (50) benachbart den Lamellenöffnungen (18), wobei der entfernbare Filtereinsatz (60) in dem rohrförmigen Gehäuse (12) über der Mehrzahl von Lamellenöffnungen (18) angeordnet ist, und die zumindest eine Öffnung durch die Auskleidung (50) derart angeordnet ist, dass ein Teil der durch die Lamellenöffnungen (18) hindurchtretenden Atmosphärenluft in das rohrförmige Gehäuse (12) hinein und aufwärts durch den Filtereinsatz (60) strömt.
  14. Verfahren zum Behandeln von Emissionen nach Anspruch 13, wobei der Schritt der Emissionsbehandlung enthält, Oxidation mit einem katalytischen Wandler zu begünstigen.
