Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système chirurgical permettant de stabiliser un premier segment osseux à un deuxième segment osseux. Le système comprend une plaque pourvue d'une première et d'une seconde extrémité, la première extrémité étant conçue de manière à pouvoir être fixée sur le premier segment osseux et la seconde extrémité étant conçue de manière à pouvoir être fixée sur le deuxième segment osseux. De plus, la plaque possède une intégrité structurelle suffisante pour stabiliser le premier segment osseux au deuxième segment osseux. D'autres modes de réalisation comprennent une plaque supplémentaire destinée à stabiliser un troisième segment osseux au deuxième segment osseux.
