Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a method for constructing a game field surrounded by a band system, in particular a soccer field.

There are a variety of different types of sports fields, and in particular football fields, where gangs are used for different purposes. Thus, especially in football, but also in many other sports bands used as an advertising medium, which are arranged at a distance to the pitch without limiting it. In addition, gangs are also used as playing field boundaries, for example at indoor football fields.

In sports field construction, a playing surface is usually surrounded by a walk-in enclosure, which has substantially the same height as the playing field. Another object of the present invention is to provide a simple and rapid method of constructing such a playing field arrangement.

This object is achieved with a playing field arrangement having the features of claim 1 and a method having the features of claim 14. Further advantageous embodiments of the pitch array and the method emerge from the dependent claims.

Under a circulating band system is here and below understood as one in which the plate segments are mechanically connected to each other so that they form a completely surrounding the field system, ie a closed frame. In particular, for the use of the playing field arrangement according to the invention in outdoor areas where significant temperature fluctuations is expected, it makes sense to run the bottom groove wider than the plate segments of the band system and the free space within the groove next to the plate segments used with an elastic material, in particular a rubber granulate to fill. In this way, temperature-induced dimensional changes of the band system can be absorbed without affecting the stability of the band system. In addition, the inherent rigidity of the band system is significantly increased by the smaller number of necessary plate segment joints.

The band system can, as already mentioned, also have gates, which are then preferably arranged between two plate segments and connected to these on engageable jaws, in the same way as the plate segments can be attached to the post.

As a playing surface is particularly suitable an artificial turf or a comparable playing surface ground, which is preferably designed so far that it limits the bottom groove on the inside of the band system. The ground is any suitable ground for a playing field into consideration. On outer surfaces, this is usually a plan that is created before the subframe is laid out.

The subframe itself may be composed of solid profile elements. For reasons of lower weight and lower material costs, we subframe but preferably composed of U-profile elements. In particular, profile elements made of wood or metal are suitable because of their dimensional stability for the production of an auxiliary frame, but it can just as well profiles of plastics or composite materials are used.

It may also be useful if the profile of the subframe is higher than the playing surface, so that the subframe in the creation of the playing surface is not easily hidden during the work.

As a playing surface for such playground arrangements usually an artificial turf is used. However, depending on the sport, another surface, for example, a flat plastic floor, may be provided.

As already mentioned, it makes sense if the playing surface is directly adjacent to the subframe, in particular if the band serves as a boundary of the playing field. If the band is used especially on scoreless sides of a playing field only for advertising purposes, but also a different floor structure can be used between the playing surface and the band. Also in this case, an accurate positioning of the playing surface within the bands is guaranteed without a re-measuring the outer edges of the playing field, as long as the width of the other floor structure between playing surface and band is precisely defined.
