Abstract

The wall structure incorporates two or more posts (1) of profiled cross-section. The soundproof components (13-15) are inserted one above the other from the top to close the intervening spaces between the posts. The posts have a comb-type profile at their sides facing toward each other, so as to form three or more vertical grooves (6-8), in which the components are inserted. The components may have mat- or plate-type sound-absorbing parts, typically cement-bonded fibreboards. Alternatively, slats or bars can be slotted at the ends. The slats or bars can be slotted at the ends. The feet of the posts can have anchor plates with fixing points, and the posts may be of rolled sheet steel, pref. stainless steel.

Description

The present invention relates to a kit according to the preamble of claim 1.

Soundproof walls are usually created along streets or railroad tracks to protect the adjacent areas against noise immissions. In particular, such soundproof walls have to absorb the sound with the most frequently occurring frequencies. Known soundproofing walls are regularly built up from large modules that are lined up, which are moved or replaced as a whole. The structure of the individual modules is tailored to local requirements. Subsequent changes to a soundproof wall or repairs always require the replacement of entire modules and are therefore so expensive that they are usually not done. Furthermore, these prefabricated modules have a uniform appearance that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and is functionally determined in advance, which leaves little scope for adaptation to the environment.

The object of the present invention is therefore to create a soundproof wall which can be varied functionally and aesthetically within wide limits and which can also be modified or repaired in small and smallest sections with little effort.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

If the posts of the soundproofing wall according to the invention are offset, its three (or more) layers can be installed without tools and quickly replaced afterwards. If, for example, it turns out during later sound measurements that the soundproofing wall is not satisfactory in terms of its effect at individual points, individual ones of the three layers can be exchanged for others at these points and their overall effect can be optimized. Likewise, at a later point in time, when more effective sound absorption materials are available on the market due to technical developments, the sound absorption layer can be replaced with the least effort and the effect of the noise barrier can be brought up to the latest technical standard.

Larger changes in the appearance can also be made with little effort. Another advantage is that the soundproofing wall can be predominantly made of wood, a raw material that can be easily recycled into the natural cycle.

The supporting element of the soundproofing wall shown in FIG. 1 are regularly spaced, vertical posts 1. These are anchored directly on the floor or on a floor-level foundation or on a base 2, the base 2 being completely or partially sunk in the floor or placed on the floor and can be anchored in the ground. The soundproofing wall is protected at the top by a cover 3 in the form of a profile sheet which is angled slightly downward and has a gable roof cross section.

Die Pfosten 1 sind vorzugsweise aus einem rostfreien profilgewalzten Blech gefertigt.5 shows with solid lines the cross-sectional profile of an end post 1 set up at one end of a soundproof wall. To form a middle post, a post with the same profile can be welded in mirror image (shown in dash-dot lines). The foot ends of the posts 1 each have an anchor plate 4 provided with screw holes 5, by means of which it can be screwed onto a floor-level foundation or onto a base 2. The post 1 is profiled like a comb and forms three (or more) vertical grooves 6 to 8. The grooves 6 to 8 of adjacent posts 1 are directed towards one another with their open side and serve, as later described, the holder and guidance of the various layers from which the soundproof wall is built. The posts 1 are preferably made of a stainless, profile-rolled sheet.

In the case of an angled course of the soundproof wall, angle posts are expediently provided at the corners, as shown in FIG. 8. These consist of two individual posts welded to each other with the back of the web, the legs of which form the outer corner of the wall are extended beyond the back of the web, the length of these extensions determining the size of the angle enclosed by the soundproofing wall.

On the prismatic base 2 made of cement casting there is a fastening point 9 for the posts 1 on the upper side. Two inclined bores 10 which are inclined relative to one another and pass through the base 1 serve to attach inclined anchors. Furthermore, a groove 11 is provided in each of two opposite base sides, so that a set plate 12 or a set plate can be inserted between the mutually facing grooves 11 of adjacent base 2 in order to fill the space between the bases.

The soundproof wall is constructed in three layers between the posts 1. The layer which is most sensitive to mechanical damage, the sound absorption layer 13, is formed by a tabular rock wool mat or the like and lies between two protective outer layers. It is vertical with its Edge areas in two mutually facing, central grooves 7 pushed by two adjacent posts 1 and held therein and optionally adjoins down directly on a setting plate 12 or on a floor-level foundation.

On one side of the sound absorption layer 13 there is a sound barrier layer 14 made of individual boards or cement-bonded fiber boards, which are pushed into a pair of grooves 6 of adjacent posts at the ends and are held upright with their longitudinal narrow sides.

On the side of the absorption layer 13 opposite the sound barrier layer 14, a sound-permeable protective layer 15 is provided, which can consist, for example, of parallel rods 16, the ends of which are held in the grooves 8 of adjacent posts. The distance between the bars can be determined by insertable spacers. The protective layer 15 serves, in addition to protecting the absorption layer 13, above all to provide an aesthetically pleasing cladding of the wall and can largely be designed in terms of shape and color. If high aesthetic requirements are placed on both sides of the wall, as shown in FIG. 4, the barrier layer 14 can also be replaced by a protective layer 15 which is highly variable in its shape. To protect the sound absorption layer 13, a mesh or grid can additionally be inserted or clamped between the latter and the protective layer 15.

The soundproofing wall is created as follows. First, the posts 1 are displaced vertically at regular intervals along a line corresponding to the course of the wall, the displacement being able to take place on a floor-level foundation or with the aid of more or less recessed bases 2. If the base 2 is fully or partially visible or protruding, the space between them is closed by setting plates 12 which, as mentioned, are pushed with their ends into the mutually facing grooves 11 of adjacent base 2. Then the three layers 13, 14, 15 of the soundproof wall are built up one after the other. First, the boards of the barrier layer 14 are inserted into the grooves 6 from above and placed on top of one another with their adjacent narrow sides until the barrier layer is essentially flush with the upper end of the post. Then the spaces between the post 1 are filled with sound-absorbing plates 13, which are inserted into the grooves 7 from above until they rest against the anchor plates 4 with the lower corners. Then rods 16 and spacer elements are alternately inserted into a pair of grooves 8 from above. The end faces of the rods 16 can be provided with a slot, so that the rod ends interlock with the groove 8 of the post and the outer profile leg delimiting them in the manner of a groove-comb or fold connection and form a continuous line with the adjoining rods. After the three layers have been applied, the cover 3 is put on. Small tools are required for attaching the three layers 13, 14, 15, which enables the wall to be created quickly, but also allows for rapid replacement or replacement of damaged wall parts.
