Außerdem ist ein Anheben der Siebmaschine im Betrieb vorteilhaft zur Erzielung höherer Abwurfkegel. Die Siebmaschine muss dann nicht so oft verfahren werden. Vorteilhafterweise ist das Fahrwerk in Transportposition (Transport durch den LKW) soweit eingefahren, dass kein Kontakt mehr zum Boden besteht oder zumindest nicht mehr die volle Last der Siebmaschine auf dem Fahrwerk ruht.
