Gemäß Figur 1 besteht der in einem - nicht weiter dargestellten - Führerstand eines Schiffsfahrzeugs installierte Kommandogeber im Wesentlichen aus einem gewölbten Gebergehäuse 1, an welchem ein Paar von Gebereinstellhebeln 2 schwenkbar gelagert angebracht sind. Die Gebereinstellhebel 2 lassen sich über einen integrierten Rastmechanismus 3 mit einer auf einem Anzeigefeld 4 abgebildeten Skala 5 in Übereinstimmung bringen. Die Skala 5 ist hier durch den Raststellungen entsprechende farbliche Skalenstriche gebildet. Der Rastmechanismus 3 wird durch eine über einen integrierte elektronische Steuereinheit 6 angesteuerten Schrittmotor gebildet. Neben dem Anzeigefeld 4 ist am Gebergehäuse 1 eine elektrische Tastatur 7 vorgesehen, welche als elektrisches Eingabemittel zur manuellen Auswahl vordefinierter Farbprogramme durch den Bediener dient. Als vordefinierte Farbprogramme lassen sich bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel die Fahrprogramme Normalfahrt, Troilling, Slip-Scrip, Rückwärtsmodus und Energiesparmodus auswählen. Jeder dieser Fahrprogramme verwirklicht ein anderes Ansteuerkonzept für den Schiffsantrieb. So wird für das Fahrprogramm Troilling beispielsweise der Schiffsmotor auf konstanter Betriebsdrehzahl in einem günstigen Drehzahlbereich gehalten, während die langsame Fahrgeschwindigkeit über eine betätigbare Schlupfkupplung eingestellt wird. Je nach Auswahl eines Fahrprogramms gemäß Tastatur 7 bringt die elektronische Steuereinheit 6 eine zu dem gewählten Fahrprogramm passende Skala 5 im dynamischen Anzeigefeld 4 zur Anzeige.According to FIG. 1 consists of in a - not shown - cab of a marine vehicle installed command transmitter essentially of a curved encoder housing 1, to which a pair of donor adjustment levers 2 are mounted pivotally mounted. Claims (8)

  1. A control head for remotely controlling a marine propulsion system, comprising at least one control head adjustment lever (2) pivotably supported on a control head housing (1) and able to be brought into alignment with a corresponding scale (5) of a display field (4) arranged on the control head housing (1) by means of an indexing mechanism (3), characterised in that electrical input means are provided for manual selection of predefined drive programs by means of which an electronic control unit (6) displays, in the dynamic display field (4), a scale (5) matching the selected drive program.
  2. The control head according to claim 1,
    characterised in that the electronic control unit (6) additionally sets an indexing mechanism (3) adapted to the selected drive program and the scale (5) corresponding thereto.
  3. The control head according to claim 2,
    characterised in that the indexing mechanism (3) comprises an electrically driveable stepping motor.
  4. The control head according to claim 1,
    characterised in that the electric input means are formed as a keyboard (7) arranged on the control head housing (1).
  5. The control head according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that the predefined drive programs selectable via the input means are selected from the group comprising normal cruising, trolling, slip-grip, reverse mode, energy-saving mode.
  6. The control head according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterised in that the curved display field (4) includes an e-paper on which the control unit (6) displays different scales (5).
  7. A method for remotely controlling a marine propulsion system via at least one control head adjustment lever (2) pivotably supported on a control head housing (1) and manually brought into alignment with a corresponding scale (5) of a display field (4) arranged on the control head housing (1) by means of an indexing mechanism (3),
    characterised in that electrical input means are used to select predefined drive programs by means of which, via an electronic control unit (6), a scale (5) matching the selected drive program is displayed in the dynamic display field (4).
  8. A computer program product for an electronic control unit (6) of a control head according to any one of claims 1 to 6, operable by a method according to claim 7, wherein the routine for displaying the scale (5) matching the selected drive program is implemented by means of control commands contained in a software package.
