Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne, de façon générale, les borniers du type de ceux qui sont par exemple utilisés dans les tableaux de distribution électrique, dans les boîtes de dérivation, ou encore dans les armoires électriques.
- Plus précisément l'invention concerne un bornier comprenant au moins un premier module de connexion électrique équipotentielle, ce premier module comportant un barreau en matériau rigide et conducteur s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale et percé d'orifices de connexion, ces orifices étant juxtaposés suivant la direction longitudinale et traversant chacun le barreau suivant une direction transversale perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale, chaque orifice de connexion étant équipé d'une vis engagée dans un filetage correspondant percé dans le barreau suivant une direction perpendiculaire aux directions longitudinale et transversale, et la vis équipant chaque orifice pouvant ainsi serrer, en service, un câble engagé dans cet orifice contre une paroi formant plancher de cet orifice.
- Un bornier de ce type est par exemple décrit dans les documents de brevets
DE 20306229 etFR 2 750 262 - Les principaux critères de qualité d'un tel bornier sont la tenue mécanique, l'amélioration de la tenue aux courants élevés de courts-circuits dans un volume identique voire plus faible, la conductibilité thermique, et la compacité, qui est importante à la fois pour l'économie de matière et pour la facilité d'installation.
- Or, le problème essentiel que doit surmonter la conception de tels borniers réside dans le fait que ces caractéristiques sont antinomiques à plusieurs égards.
- En effet, les matériaux présentant la tenue mécanique souhaitable, comme le laiton, présentent des conductibilités électrique et thermique moyennes.
- Inversement, le cuivre, qui est connu comme présentant des conductibilités électrique et thermique excellentes, présente une tenue mécanique insuffisante.
- Par ailleurs, plus les dimensions du bornier sont faibles, et plus il est difficile d'atteindre les performances requises en matière de tenue mécanique et d'évacuation de la chaleur.
- Dans ce contexte, l'invention a pour but de proposer un bornier dont la structure offre un excellent compromis pour l'obtention de ces performances contradictoires.
- A cette fin, le bornier de l'invention, par ailleurs conforme au préambule ci-dessus, est essentiellement caractérisé en ce que le premier module comporte en outre un peigne monobloc en cuivre essentiellement formé d'une rangée de dents juxtaposées mutuellement parallèles et d'une barrette reliant et supportant les dents, en ce que chaque dent du peigne est insérée dans un orifice correspondant du barreau et en appui sur le plancher de cet orifice, cette dent étant ainsi, en service, interposée entre ce plancher et le câble engagé dans cet orifice, et en ce que la barrette du peigne est repliée contre les dents, le plancher de chaque orifice étant ainsi enserré entre la barrette du peigne et la dent correspondant à cet orifice.
- Le barreau peut alors être réalisé en laiton sans obérer la tenue du bornier aux courants de courts-circuits, ni sa capacité à évacuer la chaleur.
- Il peut être judicieux de prévoir que le plancher de chaque orifice soit plat et que chaque dent du peigne soit elle-même au moins partiellement plate.
- Chaque dent du peigne peut en outre présenter des rebords latéraux destinés à venir en appui contre des parois latérales de l'orifice correspondant, contiguës au plancher de cet orifice.
- Il peut encore être judicieux de prévoir que la barrette du peigne présente un tronçon longitudinal dépassant de la rangée de dents, en particulier dans le cas où le bornier comprend un deuxième module de connexion électrique équipotentielle comportant une cage en matériau conducteur et disposée dans le prolongement du barreau du premier module de connexion.
- En effet, le bornier peut alors comprendre une agrafe élastique enserrant ensemble la cage du deuxième module de connexion et une partie au moins du tronçon longitudinal de la barrette qui dépasse de la rangée de dents du peigne du premier module, les deux modules étant ainsi couplés de façon efficace au plan mécanique, au plan électrique, et au plan thermique.
- D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention ressortiront clairement de la description qui en est faite ci-après, à titre indicatif et nullement limitatif, en référence aux dessins annexés, dans lesquels :
- la
figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un bornier conforme à un mode de réalisation possible de l'invention; - la
figure 2 est une vue éclatée en perspective du bornier illustré à lafigure 1 ; - la
figure 3 est une vue en perspective à échelle agrandie d'un détail du bornier illustré auxfigures 1 et 2 , et sur lequel se concentrent les principales caractéristiques de l'invention; et - la
figure 4 est une vue en perspective du détail illustré à lafigure 3 , observé sous un angle différent. - Comme annoncé précédemment, l'invention concerne un bornier de connexion électrique dont un exemple non limitatif est illustré aux
figures 1 et 2 . - Il existe plusieurs types de borniers, à savoir essentiellement des borniers à vis, des borniers à blocage automatique, et des borniers mixtes.
- Dans un bornier à vis, tel que décrit par exemple dans le document de brevet
FR 2 750 262 - Dans un bornier à blocage automatique, le câble est serré au moyen d'une lame ressort qui est déplacée élastiquement par le câble lors de l'insertion de ce câble dans un orifice de connexion, et qui, par sa forme en harpon, s'oppose à l'extraction du câble hors de l'orifice.
- L'invention concerne, à titre principal, les borniers à vis et, par voie de conséquence, également les borniers mixtes, c'est-à-dire les borniers qui comprennent, comme illustré aux
figures 1 et 2 , un module M1 de bornier à vis et un module M2 de bornier à blocage automatique. - Comme le montrent les figures, un bornier conforme à l'invention comprend donc au moins un module M1 de connexion électrique équipotentielle à vis.
- Un tel module M1 comporte traditionnellement un barreau 1 en matériau rigide et conducteur, par exemple en laiton, s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale X et percé d'orifices de connexion 11.
- Les orifices de connexion 11 sont juxtaposés suivant la direction longitudinale X et traversent chacun le barreau 1 suivant une direction transversale perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale X.
- Chaque orifice de connexion 11 est équipé d'une vis 12 engagée dans un filetage 120 correspondant, ce filetage étant percé dans le barreau 1 suivant une direction verticale sur les
figures 1 et 2 , c'est-à-dire suivant une direction perpendiculaire à la fois à la direction longitudinale X du barreau 1 et à la direction transversale des orifices 11. - En regard de chaque filetage 120, l'orifice correspondant 11 présente une paroi 110 formant plancher pour le logement de câble que constitue cet orifice.
- De cette façon, la vis 12 équipant chaque orifice 11 peut, en service, serrer contre le plancher 110 un câble K qui est engagé dans cet orifice 11.
- Le module M1 de connexion à vis qui constitue un bornier conforme à l'invention, ou qui appartient à un tel bornier, comporte en outre un peigne 2 monobloc en cuivre.
- Ce peigne 2 est essentiellement formé d'une rangée de dents 21 juxtaposées et mutuellement parallèles, et d'une barrette 22 qui relie et qui supporte les dents 21.
- Par ailleurs, chaque dent 21 du peigne 2 est insérée dans un orifice 11 correspondant du barreau 1 et se trouve en appui sur le plancher 110 de cet orifice 11, très préférablement sur toute la largeur du barreau 1, c'est-à-dire sur toute la longueur de traversée de l'orifice 11.
- En service, chaque dent 21 engagée dans un orifice 11 est donc interposée entre le plancher 110 de cet orifice et le câble K également engagé dans cet orifice 11.
- Pour optimiser le contact entre le barreau 1 et le peigne 2, le plancher 110 de chaque orifice 11 est de préférence plat, chaque dent 21 du peigne 2 étant elle-même au moins partiellement plate pour s'appliquer sur le plancher 110.
- En outre, chaque dent 21 du peigne 2 peut présenter des rebords latéraux 211 qui sont destinés à venir en appui contre les parois latérales 111 de l'orifice 11 correspondant, contiguës au plancher 110, de manière à augmenter encore le contact électrique et thermique entre le barreau 1 et le peigne 2, à maintenir le câble sous la vis, et à rigidifier cette dent.
- Comme le montrent le mieux les
figures 2 et4 , la barrette 22 du peigne 2 est avantageusement repliée contre les dents 21, et adopte ainsi une position dans laquelle le plancher 110 de chaque orifice 11 est enserré entre la barrette 22 du peigne 2 et la dent 21 correspondant à cet orifice 11. - Dans le cas où le bornier de l'invention est de type mixte, il comprend, comme illustré aux
figures 1 et 2 , un module M2 de connexion électrique équipotentielle à blocage automatique, ce deuxième module comportant lui-même une cage 4 en matériau conducteur, par exemple en cuivre, et disposée dans le prolongement du barreau 1 du module de connexion M1 à vis. - De son côté, la barrette 22 du peigne 2 peut être plus longue que la rangée de dents 21, c'est-à-dire présenter un tronçon longitudinal libre 221 dépassant de la rangée de dents 21.
- Dans ces conditions, le bornier peut comprendre une agrafe 3 conformée en pince élastique et permettant de relier l'un à l'autre les modules de connexion M1 et M2 à la fois mécaniquement, thermiquement et électriquement.
- Pour ce faire, comme le montre une comparaison des
figures 2 et4 , l'agrafe enserre ensemble un voile de la cage 4 du module M2 et une partie au moins du tronçon longitudinal 221 de la barrette 22 du module M1. - Comme le montre encore la
figure 2 , le module M2 comporte, outre la cage 4, un ensemble 5 de lames ressorts, et le bornier comprend également un socle support 6 et un capot 7. - Le capot 7 est conçu pour être encliqueté sur le support 6, dans lequel sont logés le barreau 1, le peigne 2, l'agrafe 3, et la cage 4.
- Les lames ressorts 5 sont quant à elles logées à l'intérieur de la cage 4, dans laquelle ces lames ont pour fonction de retenir dans la cage 4 des câbles insérés dans des alvéoles 60 du socle 6 et dans cette cage 4 à travers des lumières 70 du capot 7.
Claims (7)
- Bornier comprenant au moins un premier module (M1) de connexion électrique équipotentielle, ce premier module comportant un barreau (1) en matériau rigide et conducteur s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale (X) et percé d'orifices de connexion (11), ces orifices (11) étant juxtaposés suivant la direction longitudinale (X) et traversant chacun le barreau (1) suivant une direction transversale perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale (X), chaque orifice de connexion (11) étant équipé d'une vis (12) engagée dans un filetage correspondant percé dans le barreau (1) suivant une direction perpendiculaire aux directions longitudinale (X) et transversale, et la vis (12) équipant chaque orifice (11) pouvant ainsi serrer, en service, un câble (K) engagé dans cet orifice (11) contre une paroi (110) formant plancher de cet orifice (11), caractérisé en ce que le premier module (M1) comporte en outre un peigne (2) monobloc en cuivre essentiellement formé d'une rangée de dents (21) juxtaposées mutuellement parallèles et d'une barrette (22) reliant et supportant les dents (21), en ce que chaque dent (21) du peigne (2) est insérée dans un orifice (11) correspondant du barreau (1) et en appui sur le plancher (110) de cet orifice (11), cette dent (21) étant ainsi, en service, interposée entre ce plancher (110) et le câble (K) engagé dans cet orifice (11), et en ce que la barrette (22) du peigne (2) est repliée contre les dents (21), le plancher (110) de chaque orifice (11) étant enserré entre la barrette (22) du peigne (2) et la dent (21) correspondant à cet orifice (11).
- Bornier suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le barreau (1) est en laiton.
- Bornier suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le plancher (110) de chaque orifice (11) est plat et en ce que chaque dent (21) du peigne (2) est au moins partiellement plate.
- Bornier suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que chaque dent (21) du peigne (2) présente des rebords latéraux (211) destinés à venir en appui contre des parois latérales (111) de l'orifice (11) correspondant, contiguës au plancher (110) de cet orifice (11).
- Bornier suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la barrette (22) du peigne (2) présente un tronçon longitudinal (221) dépassant de la rangée de dents (21).
- Bornier suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un deuxième module (M2) de connexion électrique équipotentielle comportant une cage (4) en matériau conducteur et disposée dans le prolongement du barreau (1) du premier module de connexion (M1).
- Bornier suivant les revendications 5 et 6, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une agrafe élastique (3) enserrant ensemble la cage (4) du deuxième module (M2) de connexion et une partie au moins du tronçon longitudinal (221) de la barrette (22) qui dépasse de la rangée de dents (21) du peigne (2) du premier module (M1).
