- the electromagnetic coupling 30 acts as a brake for the driven shaft 2 which is kept in the stable stopped condition.

- the device allows operation in fail-safe mode, keeping the driven shaft rotating by means of the thrust of the springs also in the event of a fault in the electrical system, while being composed of a minimum number of components, thereby ensuring easy assembly and a low cost of the device as a whole.
