  8. The fire hydrant according to claim 6, wherein said at least one first retention means is a pallet (15a, 15b) having the shape of a recessed cone into which engages at least one nipple (16a, 16b) borne by said added part (16).
  9. The fire hydrant according to any of claims 4 or 5, wherein said plug (9) has the shape of a recessed cylinder in its upper portion so as to form two side appendages (17) separated from each other by a recessed portion, the bottom of which forms the first retention means (15).
  10. The fire hydrant according to claim 9, wherein said plug (9) is capable of being entirely inserted into the socket (8) so as not to interfere with the setting into place of a lid (11) on the attachment device of the cylindrical portion (10) of said socket (8).
