Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a device for strain relief of individual wires according to the preamble of the main claim.

There is already known a device for strain relief, with at least one connector, with which a single wire is electrically contacted and with a strain relief element having a slot for holding the single wire. The disadvantage is that the slot of the strain relief can accommodate only a single vein. When introducing further single wires into the slot, the interference fit and thus the effect as strain relief would no longer be guaranteed.

A further generic embodiment corresponding to the preamble of claim 1, is made US 4 430 523 A1 known.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The device according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that several individual wires can be provided in a first recess under interference fit by the first recess has at least two areas for storage of individual wires of different cross sections, wherein between the areas a continuous change of Width is done. The two single wires of different thickness are attached to the same connector. Due to the strain relief according to the invention, the contacting of the two individual wires with the connector is easier and less expensive, since no further recess for the second single wire is required and no different course of the individual wires is given to the connector plug.

The measures listed in the dependent claims advantageous refinements and improvements of the main claim device are possible.

It is particularly advantageous if an interference fit is provided for the two regions of the first recess, since tensile loads acting on the individual wires do not act in this way on the connection on the connector, but on the strain relief element.

It is also advantageous if the two areas have a curved depression, since in this way a defined position of the individual wire in the first recess is achieved. In addition, a higher pull-out force is required perpendicular to the cable axis to release the single wire from the strain relief, and thus achieved a higher level of security against accidental release of the individual wires. It is also advantageous if the distance between the individual wires is as small as possible, so that the thin lower cable has an upper stop.

It is very advantageous if the first recess is designed to be open perpendicular to the passage direction, since the individual cores can be introduced very easily and mechanically into the first recess in this way.

It is also advantageous if the first recess has at least one bevel at its open end, since the individual cores can be introduced more easily into the first recess in this way.

According to a first embodiment, the first recess is slot-shaped, U-shaped, slit-shaped, elongated hole-shaped or similar.

Moreover, it is advantageous if the connector has a second recess for fixing the at least two individual wires, since the two individual wires can be fastened to the connector in a particularly simple and reliable manner, for example by means of crimping or welding.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

Fig.1 shows a device according to the invention for strain relief of individual wires according to a first embodiment.

The device serves to secure connections of electrical lines, for example single cores, with electrical connections against tensile loads and thus against damage or destruction.

The device is provided on any electrical load 1, for example an electric fuel pump or a fuel delivery module. It has, for example, two connector 2, which are connected via electrical lines 3 to a voltage source 4. The electrical leads 3 are firmly attached to the connector plugs 2, for example by means of welding, soldering, crimping, crimping or pressing.

So that the electrical connection to the connection plugs 2 can not be damaged by vibrations or vibrations, at least one strain relief element 7 is provided, which absorbs tensile stresses acting on the electrical leads 3 so that they do not act on the connection to the connection plugs 2. The strain relief element 7 is arranged near the connection plugs 2 and spaced therefrom. The electrical lines 3 are electrically insulated by means of a sheath, but of course not on the connector 2.

The strain relief element 7 has at least one first recess 8 for holding at least one electrical line 3. It is designed for example as a plug-shaped wall, in which the first recess 8 is provided as a passage opening. The first recess 8 is designed to be open, for example, perpendicular to the passage direction, so that the electrical leads 3 can be introduced from above or laterally into the first recess 8. The first recess 8 is according to one embodiment slit-shaped, U-shaped, slit-shaped, elongated hole-shaped or similar. At its open end, the first recess 8, for example, one or two insertion bevels 9, which is the threading of the electrical Lines 3 easier. The electrical line 3 extends through the first recess 8 through to the connector 2. The connector 2 has a second recess 10 for attachment of the electrical line 3, through which the non-insulated end of the electrical line 3 protrudes. For example, the second recess 10 is slot-shaped, U-shaped, slit-shaped, oblong-shaped or similar. The non-insulated end of the electrical line 3 is firmly connected to the connector 2. For example, the strain relief element 7 is designed and arranged such that the electrical line 3 between the strain relief element 7 and the connector 2 is substantially rectilinear and in a horizontal plane. For example, the first recess 8 and the second recess 10 are arranged in alignment with each other.

According to the invention, it is provided that the first recess 8 has two regions 11, 12 for the storage of two electrical lines 3 of different cross-section, wherein between the regions 11, 12 a middle region 13 is provided, in which a continuous change of the width takes place. The lower portion 11 has a smaller width than the upper portion 12. Accordingly, the lower portion 11 receives an electric line 3.1 with a predetermined first diameter or cross section and the upper portion 12 an electric line 3.2 with a predetermined second diameter or Cross-section which is greater than that of the electrical line 3.1 in the lower region 11. Between the electrical lines 3.1.3.2 and the areas 11,12 a press fit is provided which can accommodate a predetermined holding force. The higher the interference fit, the higher the holding force that can be received by the strain relief element 7. On the other hand, the interference fit must not be too high to avoid damaging the insulation of the electrical line 3. The electrical lines 3 are arranged in the first recess 8, that their distance from each other is as small as possible, so that the upper electrical line 3 forms a stop for the lower electrical line 3.

The electrical lines 3.1.3.2, which are mounted together in the first recess 8, can also be firmly connected to one another via their insulation, for example, welded, and be introduced and pressed together in the first recess 8.

Fig.2 shows a section of the strain relief element according to the invention Fig.1 according to a second embodiment.

In the device according to Fig.2 are the opposite to the device according to Fig.1 Constant or equivalent parts by the same reference numerals.

In the second embodiment, a mirror-symmetrical first recess 8 is provided with two insertion bevels 9. However, it can expressly be formed only a single insertion bevel 9. The first recess 8 has a constant width B1 in the lower region 11 and a constant width B2 in the upper region 12, the width B1 being smaller than the width B2. Between the regions 11, 12 there is a continuous change of the width from B1 to B2 or vice versa by means of two bevels 14.

Figure 3 shows a section of the strain relief element according to the invention Fig.1 according to a third embodiment.

In the device according to Figure 3 are the opposite to the device according to Fig.1 Constant or equivalent parts by the same reference numerals.

In contrast to the second exemplary embodiment, the lower region 11 and / or the upper region 12 has at least one depression 16 into which the electrical line 3.1, 3.2 engages, so that it is fixed in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the first recess 8. The recess 16 is provided on both sides, for example, so that a mirror-symmetrical first recess 8 results. However, it may also be provided only a single recess 16 for a range 11,12. The recess 16 is executed curved inwards.

Figure 4 shows a section of the strain relief element according to the invention Fig.1 according to a fourth embodiment.

In the device according to Figure 4 are the opposite to the device according to Fig.1 Constant or equivalent parts by the same reference numerals.

In the fourth embodiment, the first recess 8 is formed asymmetrically. The change in width is only on one side by means of a single slope 14. Also in this embodiment, a curved recess 16 may be provided for fixing the individual veins 3.
