Aufgrund dieser Ausgestaltung ist es möglich, beim Druckgießvorgang das Einsetzbauteil mit dem Gussstück zu verbinden, wodurch der aus dem Stand der Technik bekannte, zusätzliche Verbindungsarbeitsschritt entfällt. Das Einsetzbauteil wird hierzu in die Aufnahme eingesetzt, die sich in der ersten Formplatte und/oder in der zweiten Formplatte befindet. Durch Zusammenfahren von erster und zweiter Formplatte wird einerseits eine Abdichtung der Form erreicht und andererseits das eingesetzte Einsetzbauteil in der Aufnahme festgeklemmt, sodass es eine reproduzierbare Position relativ zur Gusskavität aufweist. Wird nun anschließend die Gusskavität mit Schmelze befüllt, so wird nicht nur das Gussstück erzeugt, sondern gleichzeitig das Einsetzbauteil mit dem Gussstück verbunden, indem es zumindest bereichsweise im Gussstück eingebettet wird.
