Der unter dem Sockel 72 angeordnete Schwimmer 81 befindet sich somit im ersten Teilbereich 5a der Sammelvorrichtung 5. Durch die Wasser-Stauwand 52 wird verhindert, dass in dem zweiten Teilbereich 5b gesammeltes Leckwasser auch in zunächst kleinen Mengen in den ersten Teilbereich 5a gelangen kann und dort zum Schwimmer 81 gelangt, wodurch dieser bei diesen kleinen Mengen an Leckwasser verkleben oder verkalken kann. Die Höhe dieser Wasser-Stauwand 52 beträgt etwa 5mm und ist niedriger als die Höhe der Seitenwand 51 der Sammelvorrichtung 5. Die Wasser-Stauwand 52 ist über ihre gesamte bogenförmige Länge mit im Wesentlichen gleicher Höhe ausgebildet. Das im zweiten Teilbereich 5b befindliche und gesammelte Leckwasser wird bis zur Höhe dieser Wasser-Stauwand 52 aufgestaut und kann erst dann über die Wasser-Stauwand 52 überfließen und in den ersten Teilbereich 5a gelangen. Durch diese Wasser-Stauwand 52, welche abhängig von der konstruktiven Ausgestaltung der Sammelvorrichtung 5 auch vollständig umlaufend ausgebildet ist und die Begrenzung des ersten Teilbereichs 5a darstellt, wird verhindert, dass bei geringen Mengen von Leckwasser ein ständiges Befüllen und Abtrocknen der Sammelvorrichtung 5 zu einer Verkalkung beziehungsweise Verklebung zwischen dem Schwimmer 81 und dem Bodenbereich der Sammelvorrichtung 5 und so zu einer Nichtfunktion der Aquastoppfunktionalität führen kann.The

Claims (8)
- Domestic appliance (1) for care of items of laundry, comprising a collecting device (5), which is arranged at the base (4) of the domestic appliance (1), for leakage water, the device being formed by a depression in the base (4) and bounded by side walls (51), and a float (81) which is arranged in the collecting device (5) and which is constructed for electrical contact-making of a switch (8) in dependence on the water state (W) in the collecting device (5), characterised in that the float (81) is arranged in a first part region (5a) of the collecting device (5) which is bounded by a water damming wall (52) of a second part region (5b) of the collecting device (5) and that the water damming wall (52) has a height which is smaller than the height of the side walls (51) of the collecting device (5).
- Domestic appliance (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the water damming wall (52) is integrated in the collecting device (5).
- Domestic appliance (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised by a device (6, 7) for collecting water which flows from above the device (6, 7) thereonto and for conducting the water on into the collecting device (5) for leakage water.
- Domestic appliance (1) according to claim 3, characterised in that the leakage water can be conducted exclusively into the second part region (5b) of the collecting device (5).
- Domestic appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the water damming wall (52) is formed to be curved.
- Domestic appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the water damming wall (52) has a height of between 3 millimetres and 10 millimetres, particularly 5 millimetres.
- Domestic appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the water damming wall (52) has substantially the same height over its entire length.
- Domestic appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, which is constructed as a washing machine (1) or as a washer-drier.
