Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging container according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Packaging containers in bag or sacked form of this type should be equipped with venting options to allow the entry of air and the filling material registered air escape, but also to air or gases in granular or are held powdery contents or even develop to deploy from the packaging container and thus to obtain a compact and tightly and firmly enclosed by the packaging container product.
- Typical fillings are granular or powdery, such as cement, or even food or feed products, such as starch powders, which can go down to grain sizes of a few microns.
- the need for a venting or Entgasungsdorfkeit of such a packaging container is the requirement against having enclosed the contents reliably and a Filling material leakage as material loss as well as environmental pollution excluded.
- the object of the invention is thus to provide a simple and effective ventable, but nevertheless to moisture and other outer materials effectively sealed packaging container, which is in a cheap mechanical mass production mainly of foil, especially plastic film, to design and as a bag or bag also fine-grained or firmly enclosing powdery substances.
- this object is achieved by a packaging container according to the preamble of claim 1, starting with the characterizing features of claim 1.
- a closed outer overlap strip has been shown to be effective immission control for the contents of the packaging container, especially as an effective barrier against externally applied moisture.
- the outside one Overlap strip effectively covers underlying filter or perforation areas.
- This protective function of the closed at the surface outer overlap strip is regularly promoted by the fact that it rests relatively firmly on a filled and thus also bulged by the filling packaging container on the inner overlap strip and the underlying inner and outer openings abschüeßt.
- the outer overlapping strip can still be stapled or dotted in places at its frien edge, but is usually without such fixations in the desired position.
- the latter produces a valve function insofar as air or other gaseous substances which can push out the inside of the overlapping strips from each other and then can easily and quickly exit through a preferably large-area filter under the outer overlapping strip.
- a strip-shaped design of the overlapping areas and the filter provide for a machine continuous film processing to a Packaging container suitable possibilities including the possibilities for the production of closed or open tube-like precursors for a packaging container for filling, closing and separating on the part of the filler according to an FFS (form, fill and seal).
- FFS form, fill and seal
- FIG. 1 An in Fig. 1 generally designated 1 packaging container is - idealized - shown in parallelepiped with (visible) walls 2,3,4, of which the wall 2 forms a major surface, the wall 3 a narrower side wall and the wall 4, a cover or end wall.
- Made of film such rectangular block shape is often sought in terms of a compact and space-saving storage, but at most to achieve conditionally, for example by special longitudinal seams, side, bottom folds u. Like. A more cuboid approximate shape is achieved.
- the packaging container of the type considered here can be designed quite differently from the illustrated shape as a simple flat bag, the consists of a circumferentially tubular closed film, which is closed at the top and bottom by a simple cross seam.
- a venting possibility for the packaging container to be provided with a passage area 5 for an air outlet on the front side 2, to the two wall parts 6.7 overlapping each other form an inner and an outer overlap strips 8 and 9, wherein the inner overlap strip 8 edge is fixed with a holding seam 10 relative to the wall part 7.
- the retaining seam 10 defines the shape of the packaging container in the circumferential direction and ensures its cohesion. How out Fig. 2 can be seen, the wall portions 6 and 7 opposite ends of a single film, which is placed in a tubular shape and closed with the retaining seam 10.
- the outer overlap strip 9 is thus a protruding over the retaining seam 10 strip of the wall portion 7, which covers the inner overlap strip 8 of the wall portion 6 in a corresponding width.
- a filter 11 is arranged and fixed by edge sealing seams 12 and 13 that the filter together with the outer overlap strip 9 can create flat against the inner overlap strip 8.
- Flat overlying the inner overlap strip 8 and the filter 11 is covered by the outer overlap strip 9, which then a good Protection against contamination, mechanical damage and moisture against the underlying areas and in particular for the interior of the packaging container with therein possibly moisture-sensitive or contamination-sensitive filling offers.
- the filter 11 is replaced by the outer overlap strip 9 in the in FIGS. 2 and 3 illustrated arrangement in which the sealing seam 13 is located at the end of the filter against the inner overlap strip 8 between the sealing seam 12 and the retaining seam 10.
- this protective function would basically also occur if the filter 11 were connected to the inner overlapping strip with a sealing seam further removed from the retaining seam 10 and the sealing seam to the outer overlapping strip would then rest on the other side towards the retaining seam 10.
- the illustrated embodiment has the advantage that the outer overlap strip 9 and the filter 11 can unfold when pressurized from the passage 5 far and then offer a large effective vent area with splayed from the inner overlap strip 8 filter.
- the filter 11 can consist of one or more partial filter surfaces, it is preferably designed as a continuous strip in the sense of its large area.
- the large area is advantageous for a strong and easy ventilation, if, for example, to retain fine-grained or powdery contents correspondingly fine filter openings are required, which then also the Better prevent the ingress of dirt or moisture, but nevertheless the greatest possible permeability for air or gas should be achieved.
- the outer overlap strip 9 lies with balanced pressure conditions between the inner and outer packaging container flat over the inner overlap strip 8 and protects and seals, an overpressure from the inside valve-like to a spreading of filter and overlap strips with the advantage of easy passage of air.
- the latter also applies to the passage of air or gas from the interior of the packaging container to the passage 5, which are provided here with inner openings 14 in the form of perforations or needling in a strip-shaped region between the sealing seam 13 and the retaining seam 10. These are covered with overlying outer overlap strip 9, but released when pressurized from the inside.
- a filter of predetermined mesh size and permeability of plastic material or paper may be provided.
- a nonwoven such as a film-like thin layer of a plastic material from Wirrlagen into consideration.
- the plastic material is tuned to the material of the film of the packaging container in terms of a variety purity and a good sealability or weldability. A particularly favorable case arises with polyolefin plastic materials, for example when polyethylenes or polypropylenes are selected for filter and film.
- FIG. 4 Another embodiment according to Fig. 4 , which in principle with the embodiment according to Fig. 1 to 3 is substantially different from the above-described embodiment in that an outer overlap strip 19 is folded back inside to form a strip-shaped filter 21 and at the folded-back free end with a sealing seam, which is again denoted by 13, opposite the inner overlap strip 8.
- a folding edge 27 forms here instead of the sealing seam 12 an approach for the filter 21 against the outer overlap strip 19.
- the formed by folding the filter strip 21 eliminates a weld or seal connection between the filter and overlap strip 19.
- the Filter 21 to provide outer openings 26, which, like the inner openings 14, are to be introduced into the film by needling, punching, laser perforation or the like.
- the outer openings 26 are again finer than the inner openings 14, which facilitates a light, low-pass passage, especially with a large filter area. It is understood that the openings but in both cases may be the same or about the same design and that the inner openings can be chosen finer, to prevent about a discharge of contents in a passage 25 between the overlap strips.
- the holding and sealing seams 10,12,13 may in principle be limited to a part of the associated (front) wall or piecewise to several parts, but for manufacturing reasons, it is regularly on, the seams and strips on the then pull through the entire wall, in which case continuous filter strips and continuous perforations or needles are provided and the end-side sealing of the filters 11 and 21 may be completed with closing on the bag transverse seals or transverse welds.
- the overlapping strips preferably run in the direction of a main dimension of the packaging container, that is to say in the case of a bag with rectangular walls parallel to the longer edges of the largest walls.
- the continuous shape of the overlap strip and the filter also has the advantage that a regularly occurring bulge of the packaging container leads to a good investment and thus a good coverage by the outer overlap strip.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a packaging container according to the preamble of
The object of the invention is thus to provide a simple and effective ventable, but nevertheless to moisture and other outer materials effectively sealed packaging container, which is in a cheap mechanical mass production mainly of foil, especially plastic film, to design and as a bag or bag also fine-grained or firmly enclosing powdery substances.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a packaging container according to the preamble of
Compared to conventional packaging containers, which each provide the inner and outer openings distributed in the overlapping strip, a closed outer overlap strip has been shown to be effective immission control for the contents of the packaging container, especially as an effective barrier against externally applied moisture. The outside one Overlap strip effectively covers underlying filter or perforation areas. This protective function of the closed at the surface outer overlap strip is regularly promoted by the fact that it rests relatively firmly on a filled and thus also bulged by the filling packaging container on the inner overlap strip and the underlying inner and outer openings abschüeßt. In this respect, the outer overlapping strip can still be stapled or dotted in places at its frien edge, but is usually without such fixations in the desired position.
The latter produces a valve function insofar as air or other gaseous substances which can push out the inside of the overlapping strips from each other and then can easily and quickly exit through a preferably large-area filter under the outer overlapping strip. The ability to make the outer openings (as well as the inner openings) without concern of moisture in large areas, creates a large filter permeability to gaseous substances even with an optionally with regard to fine powdery finely porous trainees filter. This is particularly advantageous when machine filling a packaging container to vent blasluftgefördertes or at least when filling still loose air-containing filling material and thus to compact.
In particular, in a strip-shaped design of the overlapping areas and the filter provide for a machine continuous film processing to a Packaging container suitable possibilities including the possibilities for the production of closed or open tube-like precursors for a packaging container for filling, closing and separating on the part of the filler according to an FFS (form, fill and seal).

The
Between the outer and the
However, the illustrated embodiment has the advantage that the
Although in this respect the
Thus, while the
It is understood that instead of perforations or needling in a
Exit to the outside.
The formed by folding the
In both embodiments, the holding and sealing
