Definitions
- the present invention relates to a swimming pool made of plastic or metal, in particular stainless steel, which is composed of a bottom part and vertical side parts and conventional means for the water inlet and drainage, and optionally also on lighting devices, massage jets, nozzles of a countercurrent system and the like has, which is characterized by a significant reduction of the welds in the edge region and in a further development of the invention by a substantially flat pelvic floor, which has no visible welds or sanded welds within the entire floor surface.
- swimming pools are usually composed of a bottom part and side walls, which are welded together at their abutting edges. Welds on edges are always more problematic from the tightness than welds between abutting plates.
- the bottom part is composed of several floor elements, which are usually connected to each other with longitudinal and / or transverse welds. These welds are visually not beautiful and feel uncomfortable when entering, as they represent a bump. Even sanded welds are visually still recognizable and affect the visual quality of the floor surface. In a careless or even ruthless stress these welds can also be leaking.
- the aim of the present invention is to provide a swimming pool made of plastic or metal, preferably stainless steel, in which the bottom surface has a substantially smooth surface and the longitudinal welds or longitudinal adhesive seams in the bottom area are no longer visible.
- the elongated side parts additionally along the edge region of their, forming part of the bottom surface portions have two further, forming a step folds and thereby resulting in the joint area depression, in which then the welding or adhesive seam is covered by a cover, the upper edge of the cover then runs on the same plane as the first fold.
- the cover consists of a U-profile.
- An alternative embodiment of the invention provides that not two but four further, two stages forming bends take place, wherein the second stage then forms the bearing surface for the Abdeckblende.
- the cover can then be a simple plate. The thickness of the plate here determines the height of the first stage.
- this depression in the pelvic floor is semicircular or in another geometric shape, in that the edge area of the floor area is not folded stepwise, but is bent in a quarter-circle or in another geometric shape.
- step-shaped fold forms an inclined support surface for the cover panel.
- the filler panel protects the weld or adhesive seam against mechanical stress.
- the welded or glued seam can also be made thicker, since this does not present a visual impairment in the present task solution. Since the weld can be made thicker without problems, a MAK weld can be made without hesitation in place of a TIG weld.
- the welding channel can be easily flooded with inert gas and thus formed welded. Another advantage is that these welding or adhesive seams can be made in the bottom area of a welding or adhesive robot, which makes the welding or adhesive quality is reproducible.
- additional equipment parts such as headlights, water nozzles, water drainage openings, air bubble nozzles and the like, and the necessary supply lines for these pieces of equipment are housed in this depression.
- Another advantage is the fact that the supply lines no longer need to be accommodated as usual in the outer area of the side walls, which eliminates the risk of damage when backfilling the side walls of the basin.
- the cover panel is not made of the same material as the side surfaces or the bottom elements, but of other material, such as glass, plastic, stone or other metal. As a result, visually very beautiful effects can be achieved which increase the visual quality of the pelvic floor.
- the side part 1 has a fold 7 in the longitudinal direction, whereby the side part 1 forms the angled surfaces 8 and 9 aligned with each other.
- side parts in the upper edge region 16 are additionally folded twice in order to form a shapely and secure completion of the pelvic edge.
- Two along the longitudinal edge abutting, identically formed side panels are connected at the joint via a single weld or adhesive seam.
- one or more floor panels may still be between the two side panels when the pool is made wider.
- the total length of visible welds is reduced by one longitudinal seam.
- the side part 1 in the edge region 10 of the surface 9 two further, forming a step folds 11 and 12.
- this edge region it is also conceivable to geometrically shape this edge region differently or to form it with more than one step.
- Fig. 2 are two elongated side parts 1 and 2 shown in this preferred embodiment, and the associated stiffening profiles 3 and 4, shown here running horizontally, but it goes without saying that they can also be perpendicular. Furthermore, the lateral supports 5 and the insulation 6 can be seen. Between the side parts 1 and 2 are exemplified two bottom elements 14, whose longitudinal edges are bent analogously stepwise twice. In alternative embodiments, which are not shown separately, these longitudinal edges are multiply bent, for example quadruple folded or quarter-circle or bent in another geometric shape to produce the desired depression.
- the surface 9 abuts with its free edge 13 with the folded longitudinal edge of the adjacent floor element 14, which are connected to each other via the welding or adhesive seam 15.
- the cover 16 covers the recess 17 with the weld or adhesive seam 15 visible from, resulting in a substantially smooth pelvic floor.
- Fig. 3 enlarged is a section of the pelvic floor with two abutting components, for example, the surface 9 of a side part and a bottom element 14 shown. Both edge regions are folded twice stepwise and form abutting a recess 17 which is covered by the cover panel 16. Again, alternative geometric configurations of these edge areas are possible, as already at Fig. 2 explained.
- the welding or adhesive seam 15 is covered by the cover panel 16 and is therefore no longer visible and noticeable.
- the recess 17 can - also not visible - the supply lines for any equipment parts, such as lights, water nozzles, water drainage openings, air bubble nozzles and the like, are laid. Such pieces of equipment can be secured in corresponding recesses of the cover 16 with a flat top. This ensures that the pool has a substantially smooth pelvic floor, which is not only shapely, but also functional.
- the depressions form a stiffening of the pelvic floor which eliminates additional stiffeners in this area.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a swimming pool made of plastic or metal, in particular stainless steel, which is composed of a bottom part and vertical side parts and conventional means for the water inlet and drainage, and optionally also on lighting devices, massage jets, nozzles of a countercurrent system and the like has, which is characterized by a significant reduction of the welds in the edge region and in a further development of the invention by a substantially flat pelvic floor, which has no visible welds or sanded welds within the entire floor surface.
Swimming pools are usually composed of a bottom part and side walls, which are welded together at their abutting edges. Welds on edges are always more problematic from the tightness than welds between abutting plates.
For larger swimming pools, the bottom part is composed of several floor elements, which are usually connected to each other with longitudinal and / or transverse welds. These welds are visually not beautiful and feel uncomfortable when entering, as they represent a bump. Even sanded welds are visually still recognizable and affect the visual quality of the floor surface. In a careless or even ruthless stress these welds can also be leaking.
The installation of accessories, such as water inlet nozzles, lighting fixtures, air bubble nozzles and the like is so far mostly in Area of the side walls carried out, since these installations would also cause disturbing bumps in the floor area in pools according to the prior art. However, water drainage holes are often already provided in the pelvic floor area, the disturbing bumpiness is inevitably accepted. In larger basins, this disadvantage is sometimes accepted in water inlet nozzles, if the optimization of the flow conditions of the water require it.
Dokument
The aim of the present invention is to provide a swimming pool made of plastic or metal, preferably stainless steel, in which the bottom surface has a substantially smooth surface and the longitudinal welds or longitudinal adhesive seams in the bottom area are no longer visible.
This object is achieved in that in the invention, the elongated side parts additionally along the edge region of their, forming part of the bottom surface portions have two further, forming a step folds and thereby resulting in the joint area depression, in which then the welding or adhesive seam is covered by a cover, the upper edge of the cover then runs on the same plane as the first fold. In this version, the cover consists of a U-profile.
An alternative embodiment of the invention provides that not two but four further, two stages forming bends take place, wherein the second stage then forms the bearing surface for the Abdeckblende. Here, the cover can then be a simple plate. The thickness of the plate here determines the height of the first stage.
Another alternative embodiment provides that this depression in the pelvic floor is semicircular or in another geometric shape, in that the edge area of the floor area is not folded stepwise, but is bent in a quarter-circle or in another geometric shape.
Yet another alternative embodiment provides that the step-shaped fold forms an inclined support surface for the cover panel.
The filler panel protects the weld or adhesive seam against mechanical stress. The welded or glued seam can also be made thicker, since this does not present a visual impairment in the present task solution. Since the weld can be made thicker without problems, a MAK weld can be made without hesitation in place of a TIG weld. In addition, the welding channel can be easily flooded with inert gas and thus formed welded. Another advantage is that these welding or adhesive seams can be made in the bottom area of a welding or adhesive robot, which makes the welding or adhesive quality is reproducible.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, additional equipment parts, such as headlights, water nozzles, water drainage openings, air bubble nozzles and the like, and the necessary supply lines for these pieces of equipment are housed in this depression. This makes it possible that these pieces of equipment do not have in the protrude substantially smooth surface of the pelvic floor out. Another advantage is the fact that the supply lines no longer need to be accommodated as usual in the outer area of the side walls, which eliminates the risk of damage when backfilling the side walls of the basin.
In further preferred embodiments, the cover panel is not made of the same material as the side surfaces or the bottom elements, but of other material, such as glass, plastic, stone or other metal. As a result, visually very beautiful effects can be achieved which increase the visual quality of the pelvic floor.
It goes without saying that in larger pelvic dimensions additional floor elements between the elongated side parts are provided, the elongated edge regions are bent analogously stepped or formed in other forms to form the required part of the recess or simultaneously to form the support surface for the cover.

Two along the longitudinal edge abutting, identically formed side panels are connected at the joint via a single weld or adhesive seam. Optionally, one or more floor panels may still be between the two side panels when the pool is made wider. The total length of visible welds is reduced by one longitudinal seam. There are no longitudinal welds in the edge area, but only welding or adhesive seams between abutting plates, which are easier to get close than welded or adhesive seams in the edge region.
In a preferred embodiment, the
