From LOGISTICS for companies 3/2007, pages 46 - 48, a truck is known, which has an interface to the vehicle control, which is connected to a vehicle terminal. The vehicle terminal is equipped with RFID antennas for communication at close range. For remote communication, the vehicle is equipped with a W-LAN or a data radio.
The invention has for its object to provide a truck that provides additional data for a parent computer in an environment that is equipped with RFID transponders and / or read / write devices.
According to the invention the object is achieved by an industrial truck with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments form the subject of the dependent claims.
The truck according to the invention has or carries at least one RFID transponder whose data can be read out by a read / write device. According to the invention, the at least one RFID transponder is connected to a control unit in order to provide additional data on the driving and / or operating state of the industrial truck for reading by the reading / writing device. The connection can be made via radio or hardwired. The truck according to the invention makes it possible not only to collect and forward data on the transported goods, but also to store data on the driving and / or operating state of the industrial truck in the RFID transponder. This joint data collection of data on the transported goods or its load carrying means and the transporting truck makes it possible to map in a higher-level control not only the movement of goods or load carrying means, but also the conditions of the truck.
In a preferred further development of the industrial truck according to the invention, the additional data can be written to the at least one RFID transponder via a data writing unit. The data writing unit preferably has a processor. With the use of a data writing unit, it is possible to store even more complex driving or operating conditions of the industrial truck by means of a suitable coding as additional data in the RFID transponder and thus to be available for higher-level management systems.
In a preferred embodiment, a central control of the truck is provided as a control unit for writing the additional data in the RFID transponder.
In an alternative embodiment, which is also possible in addition to the control unit fed by the central controller, the control unit can also be equipped with a sensor whose measured value can be written in the at least one transponder. This sensor may be, for example, a fork-lift sensor, which indicates as the operating state of the truck, whether the fork of the truck is occupied.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- den Aufbau der Datenschreibeinheit mit einem Sensor.

- the structure of the data writing unit with a sensor.
The
Independent of the function of the
An unspecified fork occupancy sensor is integrated in the
A possible approach for the evaluation of driving or operating states, for example, is that when read by the reader /
Other uses for the additional data can be provided. Thus, it is possible, for example, to provide a transfer system in which driving and status information about the truck is forwarded to the
