Description

The invention relates to a system for energizing an electrical device, in particular a vacuum cleaner, with a cable drum comprising a connection cable, a coil and a coil holder, and with electrical and / or electronic components for switching on and off and / or setting the power of the device, which are arranged on a possibly a circuit board comprehensive carrier. The invention also relates to a vacuum cleaner with such a system and a method for producing such a vacuum cleaner.

A system according to the preamble of claim 1 is eg off DE-A-102004040 986 known. A method for manufacturing a vacuum cleaner is also implicitly shown in this document.

In electrical equipment, especially in vacuum cleaners, which are equipped with a cable drum, this is often supplied as a pre-assembled assembly in the factory in which the device itself is manufactured and / or mounted. There then takes place electrical contacting of the connection cable with other electrical and / or electronic components, which are usually located on a common circuit board. This is in turn connected via a power plug with an electrical load in the device, such as a motor. The arrangement of the printed circuit board or of any type of carrier in the device decides over a more or less complex laying of connecting wires. In conventional devices, these strands are combined into harnesses that are routed and contacted during device fabrication. Such a manufactured vacuum cleaner is for example from the DE 199 47 980 A1 known.

Since cable drum and electrical and / or electronic components vary country-specific, there is also the desire to combine them into an assembly.

From the DE 198 01 468 A1 a vacuum cleaner is known in which the cable end side output contacts of a cable drum are designed as plug contacts and are directly connected to mating plug contacts on a printed circuit board. This leads to the fact that the circuit board must be arranged upright next to the cable drum, which in turn restricts or makes more difficult the installation of pushbuttons and rotary knobs for the switches and potentiometers present on the circuit board.

The invention thus presents the problem to disclose a system of the type mentioned, can be joined together as a module in the cable drum and component carrier and still the accommodation of controls is not limited. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a system having the features of patent claim 1.

The invention also has the problem of disclosing a vacuum cleaner with a system of the type mentioned above and a method for producing such a vacuum cleaner in which the assembly is simplified. This problem is solved by a vacuum cleaner with the features of claim 6 and by a method having the features of claim 12.

Advantageous embodiments and further developments emerge from the respective following subclaims.

The achievable with the inventively constructed system advantages result from the fact that the carrier is pivotally mounted on the bobbin holder. This allows the carrier to bring in different positions, which facilitate the transport and installation. It has proved to be useful if the storage pivotal movement of the carrier by about 90 ° from a mounting position in which the carrier is directed perpendicular to the coil axis and the coil holder away, in an operating position in which the carrier at least approximately parallel to Spool axis is directed, allows and if the
Storage a further pivotal movement of the carrier in a transport position, in which the carrier rests on the bobbin holder allows. It is particularly advantageous if the carrier can be locked in the transport position on the bobbin holder. As a result, the system can be folded into a space-saving transport unit, the locking ensures the whereabouts in this position, thereby preventing damage to the electrical and electronic components.

If a connection cable from the cable drum to the circuit board is contacted by a solder connection to the circuit board, this can be saved a plug connection.

An advantageous embodiment of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention is characterized by a housing which comprises at least two housing parts, which surround the cable drum after their assembly, wherein a housing part has an opening for the passage of the carrier in the mounting position. After the carrier has been passed through the opening, it can then be pivoted into the operating position and placed on the housing part, resulting in a stable support for the carrier. It is expedient if the housing part and / or the carrier have means for holding the carrier in the operating position.

It is also advantageous if a receptacle for temporarily holding a plug is arranged on the cable drum. In this way, the plug can be kept defined during transport and assembly, which on the one hand prevents damage and on the other hand enables automatic contacting by a robot.

If the plug is used to make electrical contact with a motor-driven fan and that the receptacle can be inserted into a section of a wall of a motor fan room, then the lead-through area of the connecting cable to the plug and thus to the fan can be sealed by the wall of the motor fan room. It is expedient if the connecting cable is guided through the receptacle.

The inventive method for producing a vacuum cleaner with a cable drum, comprising a connecting cable, a coil and a coil holder, with electrical and / or electronic components for switching on and off and / or for power adjustment of the device, which are arranged on a support, wherein the Carrier is pivotally mounted on the bobbin holder, with a housing which comprises at least two housing parts which surround the cable drum after their assembly and form a motor fan room for receiving a motor-driven blower comprises at least the following method steps:
  • Pivoting the carrier from a transport position, in which the carrier bears against the bobbin holder, into a mounting position, in which the carrier is directed perpendicular to the bobbin axis and away from the bobbin holder,
  • Inserting the cable drum in a first housing part,
  • Placing a second housing part on the first housing part while passing the carrier through an opening provided in the second housing part,
  • Pivoting the carrier in an operating position in which the carrier is directed at least approximately parallel to the coil axis.

In this case, after insertion of the cable drum and before placing the second housing part, the blower can be inserted into the engine fan room. For this purpose, the following process steps are carried out:
  • Contacting a socket on the fan with the connector on the socket
  • Release the blower with plug from the holder,
  • Inserting the blower into the engine fan room in a position rotated around the blower longitudinal axis, in which the plug is no longer in the area of the receptacle.

By the "intermediate parking" of the plug this is postioned in a defined manner, so that the fan plug socket can be guided by a robot to the plug. This enables automated production. It must be ensured that the friction force that occurs between the plug and socket is greater than the frictional force between the plug and receptacle.

That in the Figures 1 and 2 illustrated system 1 comprises a cable drum 2 for a later described and in the FIGS. 3 to 7 At least partially illustrated vacuum cleaner 3 and a support 4, on which a printed circuit board 5 with the device control (not shown) of the vacuum cleaner 3 and other electrical and electronic components (eg., Power On / Off switch) are attached. The cable drum 2 has a coil holder 6, on which a coil 7 is rotatably mounted. On the coil 7 is a connection cable 8 (only in FIG. 1 shown), the power plug 9 is located at fully wound cable 8 in a cable tray 10. Further arranged on the coil holder components of a take-up system are for example from the DE 10 2005 018 008 A1 known and not described here, because they are not necessary for the functioning of the system according to the invention.

On the made of plastic coil holder 6, a cross member 11 is molded, which has two support arms 12 at its end. The two support arms 12 have integrally formed bearing pin 13 (see FIG. 4 ), which engage in non-visible holes on a border 14 of the otherwise flat carrier 4 and thus cause the pivotal mounting of the carrier 4. In FIG. 1 the carrier 4 is pivoted into a transport position in which it bears against the coil holder 6. In this way, the entire system 1 can be transported to save space, also the components that are all except for the power on / off switch 15 on the underside of the carrier, protected from damage. First latching hooks 16 ensure that the carrier 4 remains in this position. FIG. 2 shows the carrier 4 in the mounting position in which it points away from the cable drum 2 upwards and approximately perpendicular to the coil axis (arrow 17, see FIG. 3 ). The carrier 4 is held by latching lugs 18 in this position so that it does not fall automatically during assembly into the transport position due to gravity. In FIG. 2 It can also be seen that two connecting cables 19 are led to the printed circuit board 5 from the coil holder 6. There they are contacted via solder joints 20 with the electrical and / or electronic components on the card 5. The electrical connection between the ends of the connecting cable 8 and the connecting cables 19 is made in a known manner via slip rings, not shown in the drawings. From the circuit board 5 further connection cable 21 are guided to a plug 22, whose function is explained later. In this case, the cables 21 penetrate the plate-shaped part 23 of a receptacle 24, which is formed on the coil holder. The plug 22 is held in a pocket 25 of the receptacle 24 during transport and during the first steps of vacuum cleaning assembly.

To install the system in the in FIG. 3 shown lower housing part 26 of a vacuum cleaner 3, the cable drum 2 is inserted into the designated area 27 and held there by means of second latching hooks 28. When inserting the plate-shaped part 23 of the receptacle 24 is inserted into a U-shaped cutout 29 in a wall 30 of a motor fan room 31 and fills it completely. As a result, a hermetically sealed passage from the exterior of the engine fan chamber 31 is made possible inside. For further assembly, a blower 32 is now set with a socket 33 on the parked in the pocket 25 plug 22, see FIG. 4 , In this case, the electrical contacting of the blower 32. Subsequently, the blower 32 is raised again while the plug 22 is pulled out of the pocket 25. For this purpose, the friction between the plug 22 and socket 33 must be greater than the friction between the plug 22 and pocket 25 to prevent release of the electrical contact. The fan 32 is then rotated about 90 ° about its longitudinal axis (arrow 34) and inserted into the engine fan chamber 31. The rotation ensures that plug 22 and receptacle 24 do not interfere with each other when inserting blower 32.

After now blower 32 and cable drum 2 are inserted into the lower housing part 26 (see FIG. 5 ), the engine fan chamber 31 and the space 27 for receiving the cable drum 2 by placing a in FIG. 6 shown housing upper part 35 closed. In this case, the set up in the mounting position carrier 4 is guided through an opening 36 in the upper housing part 35. After connecting the upper housing part 35 and lower housing part 26 of the carrier 4 is pivoted to the operating position in which it is aligned approximately parallel to the coil axis 17, see FIG. 7 , He then lies on a support surface 37 and is held by a third latching hook 38 which under a fourth latching hook 39 (see also FIG. 2 ) engages the carrier 4. This latch hook 39 is located near the power on / off switch 15 and stabilizes it against the pressure applied by the user when turning on or off the blower 32. Subsequently, a cap 40 is set with controls 41 and 42 on the rear portion of the upper housing part 35.
