Abstract

The mechanism has a maintaining unit arranged on a sleeve (5) and a post (2) of a tent frame, and maintaining the sleeve in an intermediate position. The sleeve slides along the post, and is immobilized with respect to the post in a locking position. A displacement unit has a connecting rod (11) pivotably mounted on a handle (10) such that the handle forms a reduction lever. The displacement unit displaces the sleeve from the intermediate position to the locking position. The rod has lateral pins (21) that are engaged with a piece (25) integrated to the post.
