The invention is formed by a method for individually filling at least one cup having blisters with products from a selection of at least two different types of products, in a filling station in a number of product types corresponding number of filling cassettes the products provided and from the filling cassettes in transferred to the respective filling cassette associated dispensing position, in which the blisters are fed to the filling station, and in which the products are transferred individually from the dispensing position in the bowl of the blister. The invention further relates to a filling station for individually filling at least one cup having blister.
In the packaging industry, in particular pharmaceutical products blisters are used for packaging, which are processed in so-called thermoforming machines by a form of film withdrawn from a supply roll and fed by means of a film drive a heating station in which the mold film is heated to deformation temperature, so that this heated forming film can be deformed in the subsequently arranged forming station to form the cups in the forming film. The products to be packaged, such as tablets, dragees, oblongs or the like, can subsequently be introduced into these cups provided in this way, which are subsequently hermetically sealed in a sealing station with a sealing foil drawn off from a further supply roll. The further processing in a thermoforming machine comprises punching out the individual blisters from the film composite by means of a stamping station, wherein the individual blisters generated in this way can be combined with a so-called cartoner and packed in collapsible boxes with accompanying material such as information leaflets.
It follows from the above description that a thermoforming machine is a highly complex device which can only be operated economically if very large quantities of similar blisters can be produced. However, there is also the need to be able to produce individually, individually filled blisters in order to provide customers, in particular patients, blisters in which individual daily, weekly or monthly blisters with the corresponding rations available to make mistakes in the Avoid medication if in particular several drugs in variable rhythms must be taken.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a method with which such individual blisters can be filled in an economical manner. The object is also to provide a filling station, which allows such an individual filling.
The part of the problem relating to the method is solved by the method mentioned at the outset, which is characterized in that economical operation, not a minimum number of similar blisters must be filled, but an individual filling of each blister is economically possible, even with regard to a variety of different types of products, wherein the individual filling means that specifically each cup with one or more Products of one or more products of different product types. It should be emphasized that no product-related format parts are required for a format change, so that no set-up times are required.
In order to avoid errors and to carry out the method more precisely, it is expedient for the blister in the filling station to be stopped for the transfer of the products and the products to be transferred between the dispensing position and the place of the cup resulting from the position of the blister. To achieve the desired maximum variability, it is further provided within the scope of the invention that the products are individually grasped and transferred by means of a picker system. It is very particularly preferred within the scope of the invention if the blister is positioned on a shuttle which is guided through the filling station, since this allows a better location of the blisters already punched out of the film composite with their cups.
Furthermore, it is very particularly preferred within the scope of the invention if the shuttle having a memory unit and a unit for bidirectional data transmission transmit the data required for individual filling after the blister has been assigned and transmitted from the shuttle to the picker system and, if appropriate, control systems in this way it is ensured that each blister transported by the shuttle from the picker system coincides exactly with the products the product types required for its individual filling, depending on the patient data.
A high efficiency of the process with the guarantee of blister filled blisters is achieved by the shuttle is guided on a closed loop path through the filling station, which is associated with a second control system for checking the filled blister for completeness and / or correct content the detection of a fault by the second control system of the blisters removed from the shuttle and the shuttle is again passed through the filling station with a new blister and the data stored unchanged. It is of course possible that in the determination of a defect-free filled blister by the second control system, the stored data is deleted from the memory unit of the shuttle and replaced by new data representing the necessary information for individually filling another blister.
The part of the problem relating to the device is achieved by a filling station for individually filling at least one cup having blisters with products from a selection of at least two different types of products, one of the number of product types corresponding number of Füllkassetten is adjustable from which the products a dispensing position providing feeder and from there by means of a picker system in the bowl of the transportable on a conveyor system in the filling station and from the filling station blister can be transferred. The use of filling cassettes allows a great variability of the filling station, as a quick product change is possible by the exchange of filling cassettes, thereby changing the dispensing position and as far as the operation of the picker system does not have to be adapted to the changed range of product types.
With regard to the simplicity of the construction, it has proven to be expedient if the feed is formed by a vibrating trough or a conveyor belt.
For the interaction with the Pickersystem it is advantageous if the supply is provided twice in a serial arrangement with the suitability of the downstream feeder to promote the products faster, because this is a separation of the products and the Pickersystem the isolated products without interference closely adjacent Products can easily grab. In addition, the dual arrangement of the feed allows the two feeders to be spaced apart to form a gap below which a break collector is located so that product particles and dust can be eliminated. Eliminating defective products also serves to guide a waste chute from the downstream end of the feeders, below the gap, to the break collector.
To increase the performance of the filling station and the range when gripping the products, there is the possibility that the picker system is provided multiple times.
For quality control, the feeder is assigned a camera system for locating the products and / or checking their integrity and / or their ingredients and / or the light curtain and / or the NIR system, wherein the location can also support the operation of the picker system. It is particularly preferred within the scope of the invention if means for data exchange between the camera system and the feeder and / or the picker system and / or the light curtain and / or the NIR system are provided. It is through this data exchange it is possible to announce by the feeder which products are provided by what can be verified by the camera system, so that, after appropriate verification, the picker system takes exactly the products required according to the individual filling schedule.
A further preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a transport system comprising a closed loop is provided for at least one shuttle receiving the blister. By this design, on the one hand punched out of the film composite, rather unstable blisters stabilized and guided by the filling station, which is required by the closed loop a small number of shuttle, since they can circulate endlessly on the ring track in principle, the ring track Of course, a charging station for reloading empty, to be filled blisters and a first unloading station for removing correctly filled blister is assigned. A second unloading station may be provided for separating incorrectly filled blisters.
Further preferred within the scope of the invention is when the filling station is provided several times and the plurality of filling stations are positioned along the annular path. As a result, the performance of this device can be drastically increased by efficient use of the length of the provided loop path.
It is also advantageous if the circular path has a plurality of evasion routes, so that the blisters to be filled in a filling station can be parked on their shuttle there, without blocking the ring path through the shuttle to be filled in the other filling stations. For quality assurance is a 3rd control system, preferably a light curtain to control the dispensing position of the products from the picker system into the blister. In addition, it is provided that the shuttle has a memory unit and a unit for bidirectional data traffic so as to be able to transmit the data from the shuttle for the blister transported through it directly and individually to the relevant units or components of the filling station.
Further quality control is also provided that a 4th control system for the inspection of the filled blister for completeness and / or correct content is provided.
In order to prevent errors in filling the filling station with the different types of product, each prefilled provided filling cassette is provided with a coding of the product type, so that it is known for the filling station, which type of product is provided on the feeder for the picker system.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if each filling cassette is assigned a closure slide for releasing the products, since this not only facilitates the replacement of the filling cassette in the filling station, but also enables a selective displacement of the closure slide in the case of a filling cassette inserted in the filling station to issue the products from the filling cassette, which are subsequently to be gripped by the picker system. In order to enable its safe operation with the safe gripping of the products, the picker system has suction grippers, which are interchangeable by means of a change system and held on a suction arm, so that insofar a consideration of the format of the products is possible.
A further very particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it is associated with a blister machine for producing the individually to be filled blister and / or a sealing station and / or punching station for sealing and separating the filled blister.

In the drawing, a
