Description

The invention relates to a folder having the features in the preamble of the main claim.

He has a multi-part shell, which consists of a back part with two hinged hinged hinges over hinged lids. The spine and lids are formed by individual cut paperboard or board panels, the seams being created by a small spacing of the back and top panels and a lamination or cover sheet on the top and bottom of the panels. In operation, the back and lid can slightly shift against each other. The stability of the folder depends on the load capacity of the lamination or lid film.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved folder.

The invention solves this problem with the features in the main claim.
The claimed folder has a one-piece shell, which offers greater stability and durability. The shell may comprise a one-piece shell panel of paperboard, cardboard, plastic or other suitable materials forming the spine and one or two covers. The hinge point or the fold is formed by embossing in the shell plate. This provides the necessary mobility between the lid and back, on the other hand, the connection stability is maintained. By the introduced from the outside of the case and inwardly curved embossing also results in a shapely design.

The embossing offers a greater resistance to deformation than the previously known fold. As a result, the case opposes the closing of the folder an elastic resistance, which seeks to open the folder again.

For the claimed folder, the use of a counter-holder is favorable, which acts on the receiving mechanism, in particular a ring or ironing mechanism, and holds the folder in the closed position. Such a counter-holder can be formed in any suitable manner and arranged and secured at a suitable location, for example on the inside of a lid. The counter-holder can, for example, according to the DE 20 2005 015 673 U1 be educated.

The anvil is preferably buckle tolerant and can adapt to the lid curvature and its variation in opening and closing the folder. The lid curvature can thereby form without major disability and regress. At the same time, the counter-holder retains the necessary strength and retention force for the locking engagement with the receiving mechanism despite its curvature seat.

In the preferred embodiment, a variant of the counter-holder comes DE 20 2005 014 673 U1 used, which is particularly favorable for the claimed folder. The curvature receptacle can be formed by an angling of the foot parts of the support body, which distances the underside of the support body from the cover and provides a space for receiving the lid curl. Due to the modified shape, the foot parts are also better able to follow the variable lid buckles and take different inclinations. The counterholder thus has a high fatigue strength and functional reliability despite increased elasticity.

Also favorable is the additional stabilization of the consisting of a foldable blank supporting body by one or more plug-in tabs. This is especially favorable if there is a free space between the lid and the support body. The support body stabilization is also beneficial for the permanent maintenance of the secure spring action of the retaining elements.

In the subclaims further advantageous embodiments of the invention are given.

At the junction between the back (35) and cover (33,34) is in each case a fold (36) which extends along a curved line (38). Through the fold (36) an articulated connection is created.

The sheath (4) has a preferably one-piece, continuous sheath plate (32), which consists of cardboard, plastic or other at least partially flexible material. The shell plate (32) forms the back (35) and the lid (33,34). The fold (36) is formed as a stamping (37) in the shell plate (32). The embossing deformation makes the plate material significantly elastic and forms a joint. The embossment is applied from the outside of the case and has a curvature directed to the folder interior.

As FIG. 1 illustrates, the single fold (36) and its embossment (37) extend along a curved line. The curvature (38) can be uniform and, for example, have the shape of a circular arc section. Alternatively, the curvature (38) may have the shape of an elliptical arc section. In addition, other forms of curvature are possible. The curvatures (38) are substantially center-symmetrical with respect to the central transverse axis of the opened folder (1) and also arranged in a center-symmetrical manner. The two folds (36) and the embossments (37) have mutually directed curvatures (38), which together show an hourglass shape. The two curvatures (38) can be aligned mirror-symmetrically to the vertical center axis of the folder (1). In this design, the distance of the folds (36) in the region of the upper and lower back edge (44,45) is greater than in the middle back region (46).

In the unfolded state of FIG. 1 the shell (4) and its shell plate (32) have a substantially planar shape. When the folder 1 is closed, the one or more bulges (5,6) come to light. FIG. 2 shows the folder (1) in a closed or closed state and in a partially broken side view, in which only one lid (33) is shown and in the folder interior to see the ring or ironing mechanism (2) with the snapped-counterholder (7) is. Out FIG. 2 It can be seen that the back (35) with closed folder (1) has an outwardly directed convex curvature (6) through the fold (36) and the embossment (37) and its curvature (38) is determined. In FIG. 3 three closed folders (1) are arranged side by side with the same orientation and shown in a plan view of the back (35). The one or two covers (33,34) obtained by the curvature (38) of the folds (36) and embossments (37) has a concave curvature (5), which is inserted into the folder inside. The curvature (5) is the strongest in the back and fold area. Towards the opposite free edge of the lid (41), the concave curvature (5) is reduced, with the lid (s) (33, 34) merging in the free edge area into a substantially flat position (42). The free lid edges (41) thereby run again substantially straight.

The back (35) receives in closed folder (1) by the fold (36) and the curvature (38) a waisted or hourglass-like shape, the back width in the central region (46) is smallest. In this middle back region (46) form between the folders (1) free spaces (43) whose width, for example, is chosen so that a user with his fingers effortlessly reach into the free spaces (43) and the desired folder (1) in the middle Back area (46) can take. This makes it possible to extract a single folder (1) from a row, without the need for the arrangement of a hole or other entrainment device in the back (35). As a result, the entire back (35) for receiving labels, labels or the like. Is available. The concave bulges (5) blown inward also form on the upper and lower edges of the lid (s) (33, 34) so that they are excellent in stability. The bulges (5) give the lids (33,34) a kind of spread footprint.

The counter-holder (7) has a buckle-tolerant design and can accommodate or compensate for the depending on the closed or open position of the folder (1) and its shell (4) building or dismantling lid curvature (5). For this purpose, the counter-holder (7) has a curvature receptacle (39). This can e.g. a weak point or a joint, which makes the counter-holder movable at least in the lower lid-near area and allows adaptation to flatness and curvature.

The counter-holder (7) can be designed in any suitable manner. He can in particular according to the DE 20 2005 014 673 U1 be designed.

A variant of this counter-holder (7) is in FIGS. 4 and 5 shown. FIG. 7 and 8th show its engaged position with two rings (3).

The counter-holder (7) has an elongate support body (8) with at least one leaf spring (10) projecting laterally away from the web. In the preferred embodiment, two leaf springs (10) projecting from the support body (8) on both end faces are present. The leaf springs (10) form an elastic retaining element (9), which in the closed position of the folder (1) in the in FIG. 4 and 7 shown manner positively engages the associated ring (3) and engages behind this. The length of the support body (8) and its side wall (16) is dimensioned so that it fits with sufficiently large tolerance clearance between the laterally spaced rings (3). The leaf springs (10) protrude laterally beyond the frontal edges of the side walls (16).

The leaf springs (10) have a lower spring stiffness in the closing direction (11) of the folder (1) than in the opposite direction. As a result, they give way to the rings (3) with little resistance and snap into the closed position behind the rings (3), then developing a greater retention force. The leaf springs (10) are inclined downwards in the closing direction (11). In the closed position, they preferably overlap the ring (3) over at least half of its ring wire diameter.

The leaf springs (10) can be arranged in the plan view centered symmetrically to the support body (8) and its longitudinal axis and have a substantially rectangular shape with a straight orientation. Alternatively, they can be offset laterally from the middle. You can also be aligned obliquely to the longitudinal axis. Their shape can also be varied and e.g. tapered or tapered to the outside. The outside can be rounded.

The counter-holder (7) has in the embodiment shown a single freestanding support body (8) with said two lateral leaf springs (10). This arrangement is sufficient for the backing. For attachment to the cover (34) has the counter-holder (7) has two laterally projecting foot parts (17), each with a suitable receptacle (18) for a fastener (19). This receptacle (18) is eg a continuous mounting hole for the in FIG. 7 shown rivet (19), which may also be a screw or other fastener. This attachment point is preferably at the front so far away from the associated leaf spring (10) that the snap and retaining function on the ring (3) is not - impaired.

Zwischen den schrägen Dachteilen (13) besitzt die Dachwand (12) einen zentralen gewölbten Wandteil (14).The support body (8) is formed as a hollow housing and has two upstanding side walls (16) and a raised roof wall (12). The roof wall (12) has two end sloping roof parts (13), which pass into the leaf springs (10). Between the sloping roof parts (13), the roof wall (12) has a central curved wall part (14).

The curvature is preferably concave, so that at the transitions between the oblique and curved wall parts (13,14) each result in a tip (15). This shape stabilizes the housing shape.

The counter-holder (7) is designed as a thin-walled part made of plastic. It can be made in any suitable manner as a spray or cast or the like. In the preferred embodiment, the counter-holder (7) is formed as a folding and bending part of a sheet-like blank (20), which in FIG. 6 is shown. The blank (20) consists of an elongate central part (23), from which the side walls (16) and the roof wall (14) are formed when setting up the blank (20). At the front, the middle part (23) has two narrower projections (27) which form the leaf springs (10). Laterally adjoin the middle part (23) two bottom parts (21,22), which are folded when setting up the blank (20) and folded over one another in such a way that they form the foot part (17) in their parallel position. The bottom parts (21,22) have holes (31) for forming the aforementioned receptacles or mounting holes (18), in the folded position according to FIG. 5 lying in alignment on top of each other. The bottom parts (21, 22) protrude beyond the middle part (23). In this area, they can have a wedge-shaped, tapered bending-favorable shape. The bottom part (21) lying in the folded-in position can also have a recess (28) in the middle region of the outer edge.

Die geraden Biegekanten (24) haben entsprechend der beim Einfalten zu berücksichtigenden Wandstärken unterschiedliche Abstände gegenüber der längs laufenden Mittellinie (29).At the transitions between the middle part (23) and the bottom parts (21, 22), straight or slightly curved bending edges (24) are arranged, which are formed, for example, as wall weakening in the plastic film. The straight bending edges (24) have different distances according to the wall thicknesses to be considered during folding opposite the longitudinal center line (29).

The middle part (23) has in the interior two opposite the longitudinal and transverse center lines (29,30) center-symmetrical curved bending edges (25) which are directed against each other. The bending edges (25) may have a rounded shape in the form of elliptical arcs or circular arcs. You can alternatively have any other shape. The two oppositely directed bending edges (25) intersect at two points of intersection (26), which are respectively arranged on the end faces of the central part (23) in the vicinity of the projections (27) and the leaf springs (10). These intersections (26) form the tips (15) in the erected blank (20). In the erected blank (20), the region of the central part (23) which lies between the bent bending edges (25) and the intersection points (26) forms the curved wall region (14). The areas of the bent bending edges (25) that extend beyond the intersection points (26) define the side edges of the inclined wall areas (13). The bent bending edges (25) can also be formed as wall weakening in the sheet or foil material of the blank (20).

The shown counter-holder (7) has for better reinforcement and stabilization of its folded end shape one or more tabs (47), which are arranged on the outer bottom part (22) and through slots (48) in the inner bottom part (21) can be inserted. In the in FIG. 5 shown folding position are the tabs (47) on the inside of the adjacent side wall (16). This stabilizes the support body (8) when opening and closing the folder (1) and is also favorable for the changing lid curvatures.

The curvature receptacle (39) can be formed in the illustrated counter-holder (7) by a bending elasticity of the support body (8) transversely to its central longitudinal axis. For this purpose, the aforementioned bottom part design is favorable. Furthermore, it is possible to provide angled portions (40) on the foot parts (17) which distance the support body (8) from the cover (5) to form a free space. The bends (40) can be formed by a corresponding deformation of the foot parts (17), as in FIG. 7 is shown. Further, it is possible, when mounting the counter-holder (7) on the cover (33) to introduce a spacer and thereby angulate the foot parts (17) during assembly or bend and fix in this position on the fasteners (19). Furthermore, it is possible to provide the bottom parts (21, 22) with wall weakenings in the middle region and thereby make the bottom of the support body (8) pliable.

Modifications of the embodiments shown are possible in various ways. On the one hand, a plurality of counter holders (7) and / or receiving mechanisms (2) of the embodiments shown can be arranged in a folder (1) or ring binder. Furthermore, a counter-holder (7) can have a plurality of adjacently spaced-apart supporting bodies (8), wherein at this distance two opposite and possibly shortened leaf springs (10) cooperate to form a resilient retaining element (9). Alternatively, a leaf spring (10) of the type shown can be arranged only on one of the adjacent support body (8). Furthermore, it is possible that only one leaf spring (10) is arranged on a support body (8), wherein this support body (8) can be arranged individually or multiple times. The support body (8) and the leaf springs (10) may also be formed and manufactured in other ways. Here, a multi-part design of possibly different materials is possible. Also shown at the Embodiment with the foldable and bendable blank (20) material combinations are possible, for example, at the projections (27) reinforcing inserts, greater wall thicknesses or the like. Are feasible. In the illustrated and preferred embodiment, the blank (20) has a sheet or foil shape with a constant wall thickness. The stability is achieved here via the bending edges (24,25) and the shape of the support body (8).

The bending edges (24,25) can be formed in other ways than by wall weakenings in the blank (20). In the folded blank (20), the projections (27) form the leaf springs (10). The middle part (23) forms the roof and side wall (12,15) of the support body (8) and the superimposed bottom parts (21,22) form the foot part (17).
