Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de détection, une à une ou en petit nombre, de macromolécules électriquement conductrices, de préférence d'acides nucléiques ou de protéines, qui se déplacent librement dans un fluide ioniquement conducteur. L'invention a pour objet de proposer un procédé de détection de macromolécules dans lequel les macromolécules ne doivent pas avoir été préalablement dotées d'un marqueur magnétique. Ce procédé doit également permettre la manipulation des macromolécules, surtout pour les transporter vers l'analyse, les séparer ou les concentrer. A cet effet, on place tout d'abord dans un volume (1) un fluide ioniquement conducteur dans lequel se trouve la macromolécule (4) exempte de marqueur magnétique. Ensuite, un champ électrique est appliqué à ce volume, ce qui crée un premier champ magnétique autour de la macromolécule. Enfin, au moyen d'un détecteur de champ magnétique (5), on détermine le champ magnétique ou sa modification dans le temps, ce qui permet de détecter la macromolécule.
