The magnetic decorative strap is composed of multiple magnetic decorative sheet units. A weakened connecting section is connected between each two adjacent magnetic decorative sheet units. Each magnetic decorative sheet unit is formed with a predetermined configuration. The magnetic decorative strap can be easily split apart along one of the connecting sections into segments with desired lengths.
  • Fig. 1 shows a conventional magnetic plate 3 for attaching paper sheet to a surface of a magnetically attractable material (such as steel or iron). The magnetic plate 3 is a flat sheet. At least one face of the magnetic plate 3 is magnetically attractive for attracting a magnetically attractable surface such as a surface of a computer iron housing as shown in Fig. 1. As necessary, the other face of the magnetic plate 3 is formed with decorative lines, stripes or figures to beautify the appearance of the magnetic plate 3. Such magnetic plate 3 has limited area and is thus only applicable to small-area sheet 2 to hold the same. In the case of a large-area sheet 20, several magnetic plates 3 are needed for pressing the respective corners of the sheet 20 against the surface. This is inconvenient and the application range of the magnetic plate 3 is limited.
  • Fig. 2 shows a conventional elongated magnetic press bar 30 for holding a large-area sheet 20. One face of the elongated magnetic press bar 30 is magnetically attractive. Such elongated magnetic press bar 30 is hard and has a considerable volume. In the case such elongated magnetic press bar 30 is used to attach a small-area sheet 2 to a surface, the appearance will be inharmonic and the material is waste. Moreover, such elongated magnetic press bar 30 is too rigid to flex. As a result, such elongated magnetic press bar 30 can be hardly applied to a narrow place or an angled surface such as a corner.
  • The aforesaid conventional magnetic plate 3 and magnetic press bar 30 have different configurations, that is, the former is a small-area plate body, while the latter is an elongated bar body. Therefore, the magnetic plate 3 and magnetic press bar 30 are respectively applicable to different sites without possibility of alternative use. Furthermore, the magnetic plate 3 and magnetic press bar 30 both are inflexible so that it is inconvenient to store or carry them. This seriously affects product competitive ability in the market and increases use cost of a consumer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Please refer to Figs. 3 and 4. The thin tape-type magnetic decorative body of the present invention includes multiple magnetic decorative sheet units 1. The magnetic decorative sheet units 1 are interconnected to form a magnetic decorative strap 10. Each magnetic decorative sheet unit 1 is a soft magnetic thin sheet body with a specific configuration. At least one face of the magnetic decorative sheet unit 1 is magnetically attractive. In addition, as necessary, the face of the magnetic decorative sheet unit 1 can be formed with decorative lines 12, dense parallel functional stripes 13 or decorative perforations 14. The decorative lines 12 and functional stripes 13 can be series of eyelets, dots, dents, non-penetrating embossed stripes or facial recessed/projecting structures. By means of the decorative lines 12 and functional stripes 13, the magnetic decorative sheet unit 1 can have versatile configuration and desired flexibility. Moreover, the face of the magnetic decorative strap 10 can be additionally coated with a coating as necessary. The coating can be made of paper, OPP, PVC, PP, PET or the like material. Alternatively, the face of the magnetic decorative sheet unit 1 can be directly painted or printed with different colors of inks or paints.
  • A connecting section 11 is connected between each two adjacent magnetic decorative sheet units 1. Each connecting section 11 has a narrowed width or thinned thickness to weaken the structural strength of the connecting section 11. Moreover, the connecting section 11 can be formed with embossed stripes, recessed marks, dense eyelets, dots, non-penetrating dents to serve as a tear line.
  • In use, the magnetic decorative strap 10 can be applied to one side of a large-area sheet 20 to hold and attach the sheet 20 to a surface of an article by means of magnetic attraction. Alternatively, the magnetic decorative strap 10 can be split into several segments of magnetic decorative sheet units 1 for respectively holding and attaching several small-area sheets 2 to a surface of an article in a tidy state. Still alternatively, a certain length of magnetic decorative strap 10 can be looped with two end sections of the magnetic decorative strap 10 adhered to each other to form a ioop for different application.
  • The magnetic decorative sheet units 1 of the magnetic decorative strap 10 can have identical appearances and shapes. Alternatively, the magnetic decorative sheet units 1 of the magnetic decorative strap 10 can be respectively configured as recurring series of characters, animals, plants and things of a certain folktale or story, for example, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Accordingly, the magnetic decorative strap 10 can be versatilely applied to various fields without limitation.
