  8. The sleeve (1) in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that, the position of the rod-shaped item (2) in the second plane (15) can be adjusted by rotation of the second adjustable retaining device (8).
  9. The sleeve (1) in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that, the first adjustable retaining device (5) and/or the second adjustable retaining device (8) can be fixed, at least temporarily, such that they cannot rotate relative to the rod-shaped item (2) to be aligned, and/or relative to a sleeve (1).
  10. The sleeve (1) in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that, at least one gearing mechanism is provided for purposes of adjusting the first and/or the second retaining device (5, 8).
  11. The sleeve (1) in accordance with Claim 10, characterised in that, the first adjustable retaining device (5) and/or the second adjustable retaining device (8) are arranged in the sleeve (1).
  12. The sleeve (1) in accordance with Claim 1, characterised in that, the first adjustable retaining device (5) and/or the second adjustable retaining device (8) can be introduced into the sleeve (1) - for example, after an adjustment procedure.
  13. The sleeve (1) in accordance with Claim 1, characterised in that, the first adjustable retaining device (5) and/or the second adjustable retaining device (8) can be fixed, at least temporarily, in the sleeve (1) - preferably such that they cannot rotate.
  14. The sleeve (1) in accordance with Claim 1, characterised in that, the sleeve (1) has a thread, in particular an external thread (16), in particular for purposes of screwing the sleeve (1) into the ground.
  15. A rod-shaped item, in particular a mast or a pole, with a sleeve (1) in accordance with one of the Claims 1 to 14.
  16. The rod-shaped item in accordance with Claim 15, characterised in that, the rod-shaped item is a mast of a laundry drying frame, in particular of a rotary laundry dryer.
