The object of the present invention is to facilitate and improve the cleaning of hearing devices for users.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a fastening device according to claim 1. The fastening device has a holding element for holding the hearing device made of UV-permeable plastic or glass. As a result, the UV light can reach practically all places of the hearing device. The holding element is a light guide, which decouples the light in the direction of the hearing device to be held. This gives the holding element a double functionality, namely in addition to the usual holding and the guiding of the light.
Advantageously, by cleaning with light, in particular UV light, it can be prevented that the electronics, the microphones and the handset in particular of hearing aids are damaged during cleaning. At the same time a very high cleaning effect is achieved with the (UV) radiation, especially with regard to bacteria.
Preferably, the at least one light source consists of a UV-LED. These have a very high degree of efficiency and at the same time the small dimensions required especially in the field of hearing aids.
It is particularly advantageous if a container for storing the hearing device, e.g. a storage box for hearing aids, is equipped with such a fastening device. Thus, the hearing device can be cleaned comfortably, without the need for an additional device, in the unused state.
It may also be favorable if a charger for charging the hearing device has the above-mentioned fastening device with light source. In this case, the power supply for charging the hearing device can also be used simultaneously for the light source.
Furthermore, the container or the charger may have a lid, in which a plurality of UV LEDs are integrated. As a result, UV radiation can also take place from the top of the device.
Moreover, it may be advantageous if the inner surface of the container for storing the hearing device is at least partially mirrored. This makes it possible to realize an all-round (UV) irradiation.
The above-mentioned object of being able to clean a hearing device more simply and better is also solved by a hearing device for wearing in or on the ear, which is coated with a photocatalyst at least on a part of its outer surface. In particular, the photocatalyst may contain titanium dioxide. In (UV) irradiation, the photooxidative effect on organic substances is then utilized for cleaning.

The embodiments described in more detail below represent preferred embodiments of the present invention.
Commercially available UV LEDs can be used as UV lamps. Optionally, their UV ranges are selected for optimal bactericidal or oxidative activity.
The effect of UV light can be enhanced by special catalysts. Thus, it is favorable to coat the housing of the

Another way to distribute the (UV) light, the mirroring of the surfaces inside the charger or the storage box. By mirroring can be achieved that with one or a few UV lamps the entire surface or at least a large part of which is irradiated with (UV) light, without a significant portion of this light is absorbed at the surface of the storage box.
