Claims (6)

  1. Method of manufacturing a bag from a reel of plastic film according to which:
    - the film is subjected to successive folding operations, in order to make lateral gussets (1c) and (1d) between two walls (1a) and (1b);
    - the film is cut crosswise as a function of the required height of the bag;
    - the transverse open end (1f) of one of the walls (1b) is folded back externally, so as to open the gussets and place them flat forming a triangle (1c3) and (1d3);
    - to the internal face of the folded back wall part (1f), to the internal face of the gussets arranged in a triangle (1c3) and (1d3) and to the internal face of the other wall (1a), is added and secured a strip (2) capable of acting as a bottom;
    characterised in that:
    - the external folds of the gussets (1c) and (1d) are assembled on a part of the height of the bag up to a certain distance (d) from the transverse end for folding back, said distance corresponding to the width of a fold of the gussets.
  2. Method as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that after securing the bottom strip (2), a fold line parallel to said bottom is implemented in the median part of the strip, over the entire length thereof.
  3. Method as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that, on at least one of the walls (1a) and/or (1b) a marking line is implemented parallel to the bottom (2) and at a distance from said bottom corresponding substantially to the width of a fold of the gussets.
  4. Method as claimed in any one of the claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the structures are implemented by flat weld lines.
  5. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the bottom strip (2) is made out of the same material as the plastic film.
  6. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the bottom strip (2) is made out of a material of a different type from that of the plastic film.
