Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder mit Buchse und Stecker (10), wobei Stecker und/oder Buchse einen Kontaktträger (11) mit einer zum Stecker bzw. zur Buchse weisenden Steckfront (12) aufweist, der wenigstens einen Kontakt zur Herstellung einer elektrischen Verbindung hält, der mit einer Litze (13) eines Kabels (14) verbunden ist, wobei die vorgenannten Bauteile von Stecker und/oder Buchse mittels Umspritzen unter Freilassung wenigstens der Steckfront mit einem die vorgenannten Bauteile von Stecker und/oder Buchse miteinander unverlierbar verbindenden Kunststoffmantel (17) umgeben sind, der eine im Wesentlichen kabelkoaxiale Achse (25) aufweist. erfindungsgemäß weist Stecker und/oder Buchse zur individuellen Kennzeichnung und/oder zur lagegerechten Positionierung des Kabels während des Umspritzens ein in den Kunststoffmantel eingebettetes Einlegeelement (18) auf. Dieses Einlegeelement wird vor dem Umspritzen in die Spritzgießform eingelegt, so dass zur individuellen Kennzeichnung von Steckern und/oder Buchsen keine Unterbrechung der Fertigung zur Umrüstung notwendig ist. Dies erlaubt eine rationelle Fertigung von individualisierten Steckverbindern auch in Kleinserie.
